Despite being in the gaming scene for a decade, Rainbow Six Siege continues to stand out among the giants due to Ubisoft’s bold decision to significantly overhaul their flagship first-person shooter franchise. Instead of adhering to conventional multiplayer modes such as Team Deathmatch (TDM), Ubisoft has chosen to emphasize the tactical elements that have defined the Rainbow Six series, thereby creating a Player versus Player (PvP) game with a strong emphasis on teamwork. At the Six Invitational tournament, Ubisoft unveiled a major revamp for their popular shooter game, “Rainbow Six Siege,” which they’ve named as “Siege X.” This isn’t a follow-up to “Rainbow Six Siege” per se, but it’s not simply an ordinary update either; it’s far more extensive. With graphical and audio enhancements, improved tactical gameplay mechanics, and entirely new modes of play, Siege X is set to become the core of the game for the next decade. The teaser trailer hinted at features such as helicopters, running while rappelling, and much more.

Instead, we won’t need to wait much longer for more information, as the teaser hints at a detailed unveiling happening in Atlanta and on Twitch on March 13th at 10AM PT/1PM ET. Tickets for fans to attend this event are available starting today, and players will also have a chance to win tickets during the event itself, through in-game activities.

For enthusiasts of “Rainbow Six Siege,” this could be a thrilling next step in the game’s development. Initially launched for Xbox One and PS4 a decade ago, we are now well into the fifth year of the current console generation. Given this, it’s only logical to take advantage of the latest technology and enhance the Rainbow Six experience. However, an important point to consider is whether “Siege X” will continue to be playable on Xbox One and PS4, or if players on those platforms might need to upgrade to newer consoles or switch to PC to access these new improvements.

As I eagerly anticipate the arrival of Siege X, I’m thrilled about the fresh start that Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 10 (Operation Prep Phase) brings! A new operator hailing from New Zealand, Rauora, is joining the fray, offering a choice between the 417 designated marksman rifle or the M249 light machinegun. For her secondary, she carries two pistols, one of which is the innovative Reaper MK2 machine pistol, featuring a red dot sight and extended magazine. Apart from smoke grenades and breaching charges, Rauora’s Deployable Omnilink Mesh (D.O.M.) Launcher will prove invaluable on the attacking side of Rainbow Six Siege. This incredible tool allows you to construct an impenetrable doorway with no gaps, preventing enemy fire at their feet!

The panel will slightly move if a drone is near, then it’ll shut again once the drone passes. Both sides can operate this panel, but attackers get a quicker response at 1 second compared to defenders who need 3 seconds. Rauora is most effective for creating or blocking side routes and trapping attackers as they approach an objective while placing charges.
