After almost eight years since the debut of “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth”, the series is back with “Digimon Story: Time Stranger“. This game is scheduled to release later this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. However, fans won’t have to wait long for more information. The developer will unveil the “most recent developments” for the title during Digimon Con 2025 on March 20th at 7 PM Pacific Time.
So far, it’s been unveiled that I, as a player, will be able to jump through time and traverse alternate realities. Naturally, this means visiting the Digital World, and embarking on numerous quests. The series’ classic turn-based combat is back, offering intricate customization options and a vast array of Digimon for countless strategies in battle. It’s also a notable step up visually compared to its predecessor, which is a plus.
As a fervent enthusiast, my primary objective is to unravel the mystery behind the world’s downfall and possibly avert such a calamity in the future. The connection between this quest and the captivating realm of Cyber Sleuth promises an intriguing tale, so keep an eye out for further updates.
