Fans were disheartened when Black Clover, having just reached its 10th anniversary, didn’t recognize this significant milestone in any way. The manga by Yuki Tabata, which first appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in February 2015, has now entered its tenth year of publication as Tabata works on wrapping up the series. However, it seems that Black Clover, with its upcoming conclusion, hasn’t yet marked this ten-year milestone, leaving fans slightly disappointed.
Over the past few months, each new chapter of “Black Clover” has been a significant step towards its grand finale, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the series’ conclusion. However, we were expecting Shueisha to acknowledge the manga’s 10th anniversary, as it’s not common for series to reach such milestones. Regrettably, the anniversary itself came and went without any official recognition or celebration from the publishing company. While I understand that those involved in the anime may have privately celebrated, it’s still a letdown that there was no official commemoration.
Black Clover Misses Out on 10th Anniversary
On February 16th, Black Clover marked its 10th anniversary by publishing its first chapter. However, so far, no official social media platforms have acknowledged the day in any special way. But fear not! The 10th anniversary celebrations are just getting started, and there’s still plenty of time for Black Clover to celebrate this milestone. It is expected that the festivities will commence around the release of the upcoming chapters in the final arc, which should be out later this Spring; however, a specific release date has not been announced yet.
Moving forward, it seems that the final chapters of “Black Clover” are approaching, with the climactic battle against Lucius Zogratis underway. Given that this series is nearing its tenth anniversary, Shueisha may soon be drawing attention to the impending end, although it’s unlikely to garner the same level of global fanfare as “My Hero Academia” did at the end of its run. However, the situation isn’t as dire for “Black Clover” fans as they might think.
Is Black Clover’s Anime Ever Coming Back?
Despite the hopeful anticipation of many fans, Black Clover’s anime has yet to make its comeback. Initially, the anime may not have won over fans immediately upon its debut, but it managed to garner significant support as it progressed for close to 200 episodes. Regrettably, the series ended before reaching the events of the final arc, leaving fans eagerly waiting for a follow-up. However, it’s been almost four years since any new episodes have been broadcast.
Fans are worried about Black Clover’s tenth anniversary because the manga and anime are irregularly scheduled. Since they adore the series, they had hoped that this significant event would lead to new releases, but unfortunately, there was nothing new from Black Clover. Although it’s not Shueisha’s fault directly since fans set their expectations on their own, it’s still disappointing.
