Bethesda has unveiled a special offer in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for fans of the _The Elder Scrolls_ series. This unique chance promises an experience that will not be repeated again. By participating in this promotion, players can design their own Non-Player Character (NPC) within the upcoming _The Elder Scrolls 6_.
Fans are invited to participate in a silent auction on the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Mid-Atlantic page for the chance to be part of this event. The current bid stands at $11,050, with all proceeds going towards supporting this well-known charity.
The contest description offers one participant a unique chance to collaborate directly with the Bethesda Game Studios team, contributing towards designing a character that could be featured as an NPC (Non-Player Character) in the upcoming game, “The Elder Scrolls VI”.
By taking part in this unique opportunity, you’ll collaborate directly with our developers to design a personalized character for the game. This way, you can make a lasting impression within this renowned series.
It’s important to mention that specifics about crafting a unique NPC character in The Elder Scrolls 6 are limited; the victor of the charity auction may have significant influence over the appearance, name, and location of the NPC within the game, but there will also be certain limitations. Nevertheless, it’s plausible that Bethesda could designate this special NPC by incorporating a small quest centered around them.
Back at E3 2018, it was first unveiled that The Elder Scrolls 6 is in development. Although most of the event focused on other Bethesda games, a brief sneak peek was presented to reassure fans that work has started on The Elder Scrolls 6.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the latest sneak peek of The Elder Scrolls 6. From what I gathered, it seems like we might be venturing into an uncharted land reminiscent of the landscape in The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind – a fresh setting for this epic series!
As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but share my excitement for The Elder Scrolls 6, a game that Pete Hines from Bethesda described as massive and ambitious back in 2018. He also warned us that it wouldn’t be gracing our screens anytime soon. Jumping ahead to 2023, Xbox chief Phil Spencer echoed the same sentiment, confirming that the highly anticipated RPG is still at least five years away from launch. So, fellow gamers, let’s patiently wait for this epic journey into Tamriel!
Even though Bethesda hasn’t disclosed much about the game, we’ve still managed to pick up some important details along the way. For example, a former director from Bethesda has hinted that the game will employ the same leveling system found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This implies that players who focus on specific skills will gradually become more proficient in those areas, enhancing their overall abilities. To illustrate, regularly wielding a two-handed weapon could improve the character’s ability to handle other two-handed weapons effectively as well.
Back in 2023, when someone asked about the early announcement of The Elder Scrolls 6, a former Bethesda developer shared that Todd Howard aimed to reassure us, the fans, that we could anticipate a new single-player installment in the series was truly underway.
Despite the uncertainty about when The Elder Scrolls 6 will be released or which platforms it might be available on, Bethesda announced in 2024 that they were deeply engrossed in developing the game. In fact, internal prototypes and tests of early builds were already being carried out by the company.
In the meantime, here are 15 things you might not have known about The Elder Scrolls 6.
