Lisa Rinna is still owning her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
As I stepped away from my eight-season journey on the Bravo reality series in 2023, I can confidently say that I carry no remorse for the time spent there. However, if you’re wondering if I’m eager to jump back into those heels and reenter the spotlight, the answer is a resounding ‘not right now.’ I’m excited about the new chapters unfolding in my life as a lifestyle expert, and I’m ready to embrace them wholeheartedly.
In an exclusive chat with Will Marfuggi from TopMob News, Lisa reflected, “I spent eight fantastic years there, and I wouldn’t trade that time for anything else. However, when I made the decision to move on, it simply felt right.” (Don’t forget to catch more of this interview on TopMob News, airing February 18 at 11 p.m.)
The actress from “Melrose Place” – who recently started her new podcast with husband Harry Hamlin called “Let’s Not Talk About the Husband” on Dear Media – reminisced warmly about her time on “RHOBH“, but that doesn’t imply that being part of the show was always easy.
She compared it to someone unexpectedly throwing fast balls at the back of your head, without any warning – that’s how the show felt to her. However, she mentioned that she was skilled at handling her responsibilities effectively.
When Harry, aged 73, mentioned that Lisa, 61, seemed content to have wrapped up the series, there was no contradiction from the actress of L.A. Law.
She went on to express her joy, saying, ‘My life is filled with such enjoyable moments.’ She’s absolutely loving every bit of it, and she believes that everything happens for a purpose. She’s grateful for what she’s done, where she isn’t, and the fun she’s having. All in all, she’s content with how things are going.’
Certainly, Lisa isn’t always as tactful. Previously, the star of “Days of Our Lives” likened the ongoing 14th season of the reality show to the Titanic – a sinking ship – which didn’t go down well with executive producer Andy Cohen from “RHOBH”.
She apologized to the host of ‘Watch What Happens Live’, during her appearance on ‘Andy Cohen Live’ on Feb 11, stating: “I made a mistake with my words. It wasn’t intentional. That conversation will continue, but I regret how I expressed myself.
However, as Andy persisted in requesting a heartfelt apology, Lisa eventually followed her own counsel and acknowledged the comment.
She clarified, “What I intended to express was ‘Titanic’. Unfortunately, I expressed it in a way that may have caused you distress, and for that, I apologize. Let’s move forward now.

Bravo’s unsuccessful effort to showcase our country’s capital united four women who, if you blink, you might miss them in your memory – even though their names are Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney and Stacie Scott Turner. However, one woman was so eager for the limelight that she crashed a White House party. We’ll delve deeper into her story later on.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
Utah’s second-season Housewife, Jennie, ended her tenure in a less than favorable manner. In January 2022, Jennie was dismissed following the reemergence of offensive and racially insensitive posts from her old Facebook account. Later on, she expressed her apologies, but the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
During season 16, the Orange County doctor was generally free of drama. Her marital issues with her perpetually shirtless husband, either Ryne or Ryan, weren’t particularly exciting. However, Dr. Jen’s drunken escapade at the Dubrows’ extremely awkward yet entertaining dinner party is an incident we won’t easily forget, as she got quite tipsy on wine.
The first term of service for the nurse anesthetist could be succinctly described with a term that we sincerely hope is not repeated – the unfortunate incident known as “Esophageal Mishap.
Katie often spoke passionately about her charitable activities, but didn’t appear to do much else on the show. She was more like a one-time appearance, and when she returned, she didn’t add much to the friend dynamics. Cutting the cast trip short? That’s not really acceptable in the world of Housewives.
During her stint as a full-time Housewife for two consecutive seasons, Charrisse’s marital issues became quite prominent… Besides this, her champagne room incident is another unforgettable aspect associated with her.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In season 12, it was refreshing to notice some diversity amidst the predominantly white Orange County cast. However, Peggy turned out to be a source of annoyance, as the disputes she initiated were peculiar and frequently involved her misunderstanding a term that someone else had used. Moreover, her choice to seclude herself in her room for an entire day during the Iceland trip suggested that she might not be well-suited for the fast-paced lifestyle of the Real Housewives.
Instead of developing a connection with Nigerian co-star Wendy Osefo during season eight, Nneka’s storyline in her debut season primarily revolved around an alleged accusation that Wendy’s mother was a witch (indeed, quite surprising). It would have been delightful to observe the two women bond over their shared culture rather than engaging in conflict with no resolution.
In the 16th season, Noella whirled around as a whirlwind of frenetic enthusiasm. Despite her husband James leaving the country and filing for divorce just before filming began, adding a personal touch to her story (which was somewhat captivating), it was her ongoing conflicts with queen bee Heather Dubrow that kept her from sinking too low in the rankings. With additional time and another season, perhaps we’ll grow fonder of Noella Bergener.
In the first season, she was known as a peacekeeper, but by her second (and final) season, she went from that to constant complaints about a tossed cake and allegations of anti-Semitism without evidence – it’s hard to recall a more dramatic decline in reputation on “Real Housewives” than this.
It appeared that everything Amber and her spouse, Jim, undertook radiated a strong sense of urgency or panic. Moreover, it seemed that Jim found himself more entangled in the unfolding drama compared to Amber, which didn’t present an appealing image.
From what we recall, Karen was a dentist among the cast, and it appeared as if none of her fellow actors held her in high regard. Onto the next one!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Among the more recent short-term cast members on “RHONY,” Jules didn’t stay long enough for a top spot, but she certainly provided plenty of exciting moments and dramas during her time there.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina represented a dynamic, accomplished Arab woman who skillfully merged contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural customs. For the most part, she managed to steer clear of the first season’s dramatic turmoil and occasionally found herself overshadowed by her co-stars’ more prominent and boisterous personas.
Taleen proved to be an excellent newcomer during the second season of RHODubai, and we’re eager to learn even more about her.
In seasons 11 and 12, a longtime contestant on “America’s Next Top Model” was given a peach role in the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), but she didn’t seem to leave a significant mark in the RHOA universe beyond being pregnant throughout her stint. However, she did deliver an outstanding reading of Marlo Hampton during their time in Tokyo. Kudos for that!
As a rule, we often find it necessary to observe multiple seasons before ranking a new Housewife more highly. However, Katie made a strong entrance during the 18th season of RHOC, challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow right off the bat. It takes considerable courage to question someone as high-profile as Ms. Fancypants.
Sara’s upbeat, insightful perspective on life was generally agreeable, yet lacked significant conflict (apart from the incident when she gave Caroline Brooks some unsolicited parenting advice). Nevertheless, this tech entrepreneur broke down barriers about what it signifies to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and for that, we commend her.
In their debut on Season 13 of RHONJ, the newcomers seemed to embody the usual profile of a Garden State Housewife, but they soon engaged in a lengthy, seemingly purposeless feud that even Andy Cohen considered unnecessary during the reunion. Regrettably, these ex-friends didn’t add much depth to their dynamics throughout Season 14.
In the initial season, Larsa didn’t leave a significant mark before departing the show. However, when RHOM returned for its fourth season in 2021 on Peacock, her narrative primarily revolved around her former friendship with Kim Kardashian and her online endeavors, including selling provocative foot photos on OnlyFans.
After spending one season as a Bravo celebrity, she participated in the twelfth season of “Next Food Network Star” in 2016. Unfortunately, she didn’t manage to win that competition, either.
Sadly, she seemed to serve as a target for Brandi Glanville. Moreover, her catchphrase glorifying the distasteful idea that one could never be too thin was repulsive.
