How to Level Up Drinking Skill in KCD2
It’s not surprising that the most effective method for improving your Drinking skill is by regularly consuming large quantities of alcohol. However, there are a couple of issues you’ll need to address. Firstly, alcohol can be quite expensive, and secondly, excessive drinking may lead to alcohol addiction.
Where to Get Alcohol (& Money)
In the Trosky region, it’s handy to know that every tavern in Bohemia offers alcoholic beverages. If you’re new around here, we suggest checking out the Zhelejov Wagoner’s Inn, located west of Troskowitz. You can purchase beer and wine there, and if your journey becomes lengthy, you might even want to rent a room for an extended stay. Keep in mind that you’ll need to accumulate wealth in KCD2 if you aim to excel at the Drinking skill. A good strategy could be brewing and selling Chamomile and Marigold Decoctions.
Merchants replenish their goods every two consecutive game days. If the Zhelejov inn runs dry on drinks, purchase some in Troskowitz instead. Should both locations run out, wait for a gap of two days and recheck. Alternatively, if you’ve ventured as far as Kuttenberg and seek an endless supply of alcohol, make your way to the wine cellar indicated on the provided map. There, you’ll find an abundance of drinks, but beware – they will need to be taken illegally.
How to Power Level The Drinking Skill in KCD2
Before you embark on power-leveling, ensure you have ample stocks of both alcoholic beverages and non-perishable food items such as Dried Beef. Once procured, retreat to your private space and indulge in the alcohol. Should you find yourself unable to consume more due to satiety, take a break by sleeping until your Nutrition level decreases. This process requires approximately 200 drinks to raise your Drinking skill from level 10 to around level 19.
How to Deal with Alcoholism in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
As you consume alcohol, Henry may find himself becoming increasingly dependent on it. Initially, this dependence might manifest as a Saliva debuff, acting as a warning sign. Over time, this could develop into an Obsession, causing a loss of 10 points from all attributes and greatly diminishing stamina regeneration.
To eliminate these debuffs, you’ll have to be patient. Cures for hangovers and drunkenness like Hair o’ the Dog potions won’t address the addiction issue, so you’ll simply need to wait and rest until it subsides naturally.
After ensuring your consumption of alcohol is at a comfortable level for you, promptly address any alcohol dependency issues that may arise. To achieve this, consider spending more time resting in your room and focusing on getting better sleep. Ensure you maintain proper nutrition by consuming Dried Beef to prevent hunger, and abstain from further alcohol intake. The severity of your addiction will determine the length of your recovery process, with a full recovery taking anywhere from one to two months within the game timeline.
