Coronation Street airs Daisy Midgeley baby bombshell in ITVX episode

Following their agreement for a DNA test to establish paternity between Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), Daisy grew tired of their actions. In the end, she discarded the test results upon reviewing them.

Instead of telling stepmum Jenny Connor directly that it didn’t matter who the dad was, Daisy remained silent. However, Daniel started questioning her about if a decision had been made regarding the case.

Initially, Daisy deceived Daniel by claiming she hadn’t received any news yet, but following their first encounter, she eventually opened up to him about other pressing issues she was dealing with.

She and Jenny still owed Carla Connor (Alison King) money after they used hers to buy The Rovers.

Due to Ryan Connor’s insistence on immediate repayment, given Carla’s substantial medical bills from her kidney transplant, Daisy was finding it tough to cope in every facet of her existence as a barmaid.

Daniel was sympathetic, and it was clear just how strong the feelings were between the exes.

Initially, Daisy subtly indicated her intention to leave by suggesting to Jenny that she could consider relocating. Later, she added more weight to this suggestion when she implied that their connection might solely be due to the possibility that Daniel was the father.

It became clear to Jenny that Daniel was likely Daisy’s baby’s father, so in a private chat, she gave Daniel the impression that the child was indeed his.
