View Urgent ForecastIn the initial two chapters, players will delve into fresh puzzles and encounter three different exploration phases. According to the press release, players will follow protagonist Zena as she navigates strange, unknown lands, then confront her fears as mental distress transforms into perilous hallucinations.
Here is an overview of the game, via Dank Hearts:
In Noise Scramble City, a city that seems like Tokyo but reflects the deep-rooted traumas of six youths as “Noise” – strange illusions in the real world, the teens get lost. They must navigate this bewildering urban landscape, unravel its puzzles to shatter the mental bonds of this enigmatic parallel universe.
As I navigate through each mental puzzle, every challenge seems to hold a key to conquering the next hurdle. Keeping my mind agile and recalling past triumphs can help me unlock the route that lies ahead.
Investigate the peculiar origins of Noise Scramble City by interacting with the strange and enigmatic cat known as the Spectre, who serves as your guide. Solve each puzzle to discover the truth behind each teenager’s situation and possibly find a way out of this mental maze they are trapped in.
Help each character navigate through the challenges presented by their past issues. Overcoming Zena’s resistance, Itsuki’s envy, Honoka’s suspicion, Kaito’s self-criticism, Hiyori’s pride, and Soto’s reliance on others, we aim to uncover the source of their problems and escape the intricate city forever.
Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo is due out for PC via Steam in 2025.
