The chatter, unconfirmed and spreading like wildfire, indicates that this upcoming project could be inspired by the captivating, darker version of Batman Beyond. While the narrative may be adapted, it’s suggested that the distinctive art style from the animated series won’t be carried over.
We support that idea, but it seems strange that the rumor indicates the gritty IP might only be available on PS5, which appears risky given its potential impact. After the disappointing reception of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, I would expect Warner Bros Games to aim for maximum exposure with content from the studio. Even more intriguingly, it’s suggested that this Batman Beyond game could serve as the basis for a fresh trilogy of Batman games.
