In simple terms, a fresh trailer for Yooka-Replaylee – the revamped PS5 edition of Playtonic’s retro-style platformer – has been released, highlighting improvements made to Rextro’s Arcade in this updated game version.
In Rextro’s Arcade, you’ll find a variety of fun mini-games to enjoy! Based on your skill level, you could win medals, and these medals are later tradeable for essential treasures known as Pagies in the primary storyline.
In Yooka-Replaylee, you’ll encounter eight fresh arcade machines, and the mini-games inside them will let you control a charming version of Rextro. As shown in the trailer, these mini-games seem to be enjoyable, brief puzzle-platforming challenges.
Although a specific launch date hasn’t been announced yet for Yooka-Laylee Remake, let’s hope it won’t be much longer. With everything we’ve glimpsed of the remake, it seems like an enhancement on the original, making us quite eager to explore it.
