One striking feature of Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming game, Avowed, is its richly detailed landscapes. A large portion of the Living Lands appears to be covered in forested areas, flora, and certain fungal growth that seems eerily similar to what we saw in The Last of Us. (Note: there’s a strong resemblance.)
This custom Xbox Series X clearly draws its style from the game Avowed, as demonstrated in a recent post on X by Marketing Lead for Xbox, Bailey Kosdal. The console’s design is a masterpiece, crafted by artist and designer Vadu Amka; be sure to check out some of their other projects!

Kosdal mentions that the custom Xbox is being launched to honor the game’s release in the Benelux area, which refers to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. At this point, it’s uncertain if you’ll have a chance to own this stylish console, but they suggest monitoring Dutch channels for news on a potential giveaway.

It’s clear to see that what makes this specific Xbox Series X stand out is its representation of the flora found in the game ‘Avowed’. And it seems that Amka isn’t alone, as many others are also marking the game’s release by using a gaming system that embodies Eora’s stunning natural beauty.
In another post by Kosdal, someone else has constructed a PC that cleverly mimics a collection of moss, leaves, and tangled vines. You can take a look at it here. Marvel at its beauty, for it’s truly remarkable! This intricate design is the work of Tim Malmborg, a computer builder from Sweden.
It’s clear that the world created by “Avowed” has a unique quality that these two creators have tried to emulate in a tangible way using hardware. Fingers crossed, there might be an opportunity to win an Xbox at some point, but I think this won’t be the last time we see consoles and PCs influenced by Obsidian’s latest RPG.
