With each passing appearance since its unveiling in December, Split Fiction has been steadily gaining more and more attention, as one might anticipate from a game developed by Hazelight Studios. The buzz surrounding the title continues to grow louder, and now, publisher EA has released another exciting trailer for the upcoming co-op action-adventure game. This latest video spotlights a cherished tradition of Hazelight Studios.
Hazelight’s cooperative games have traditionally been offered with what they call the Friend’s Pass, enabling two players to enjoy a game from a single purchased copy. Excitingly, the Friend’s Pass is coming back with Split Fiction, and cross-platform play has also been confirmed for this title. This means that if you purchase Split Fiction on a PS5, for example, you can invite a friend who owns an Xbox Series X/S to join your game. Take a look at the trailer below to get a sense of how it will operate.
Approximately a month ago, Split Fiction achieved gold status, and it is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 6th.
