For quite a while, we’ve kept tabs on the highly anticipated Dune: Awakening, and it appears our patience is about to pay off. Funcom, both publisher and developer, has disclosed the game’s PC launch date, set for May 20th. They also mentioned that the PS5 version will be released soon after.
In a new peek, we caught another thrilling glimpse at “the most daring survival game yet, based on the deadliest planet in the cosmos, Arrakis,” which appears to be mind-blowing in its scale. Although there are numerous queries about how its continuous, massive multiplayer setting will function, it’s clear that what Funcom has been developing seems like a remarkably accurate portrayal of not just Frank Herbert’s iconic universe, but also Denis Villeneuve’s interpretation of it.
Starting soon, you can place pre-orders for this game, priced at approximately $49.99 in your region, so it would be wise to save up some funds in preparation.
