Exodus Will Launch in 2026

Derived from a group of ex-BioWare professionals and radiating similar vibes to Mass Effect, Exodus has caught a lot of attention since its unveiling towards the end of 2023. Sadly, if you were anticipating playing this AAA sci-fi action RPG anytime soon, it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer.

According to Archetype Entertainment’s parent company, Hasbro, the game Exodus is set to be released in 2026. In a recent quarterly earnings report, CEO Chris Cocks announced this, stating that the launch of Exodus will mark the beginning of Hasbro’s self-publishing and internal development ventures in the video game industry.

For more than seven years now, we’ve been pouring resources into video game production. Our collection of projects, numbering over a dozen and at different stages, along with our over 100 licensing collaborations, have been the focus. I can hardly wait to present our debut project, ‘Exodus,’ when it goes live in 2026,” Cocks shared.

Later on, he mentioned that we’ll be investing more into emerging business ventures such as our independently published video games, with the 2026 release of “Exodus” receiving a significant boost in funding.

During a recent earnings discussion, Hasbro revealed its collaboration with Saber Interactive. The Space Marine 2 developer is now tasked with creating an A-list (AAA) game based on a prominent Hasbro intellectual property (IP). You can learn more about this partnership through the provided link.
