Tom Schwartz: Not Dating, Living Single and Loving It

Tom Schwartz is SURprised that there’s so much interest in his dating life.

It appears that the former star of “Vanderpump Rules” has stated openly that he doesn’t have a significant other right now, suggesting that his relationship with Sophia Skoro may have ended following their brief romance of under a year.

In an interview with Us Weekly on February 19th, Tom clarified that he isn’t involved in any formal dating relationship at the moment. Instead, he’s just spending time with people casually. Therefore, he doesn’t have much to share about his romantic life.

In fact, the 42-year-old revealed that he spent Valentine’s Day earlier this month doing “nothing.”

“I was in Minnesota,” Tom continued, “with one of my first loves: the great state of Minnesota.”

However, it might not be entirely unexpected given the situation. Previously, Tom stated that he wasn’t seeking a serious relationship, yet he has shown interest in someone.

He mentioned during his January 28 interview on The LadyGang podcast that dating isn’t even a thought in his mind right now. There’s someone he enjoys spending time with, but these past two years have been incredibly intense for him.

Additionally, Tom, who ended his six-year marriage to his “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Katie Maloney in 2022, shared more about why he hasn’t fully committed to a relationship at this point in time.

He went on to express that the idea of deeply committing to someone, possibly moving in together, considering marriage again, and discussing children, is quite intimidating. However, he assured us, he’s not just any grown man; his maturity surpasses the ordinary. He’s grown a bit more, but there’s still much to achieve.

In April 2024, Tom and Sophia made their relationship public for the first time. They shared their love story during a mutually open conversation on the “Viall Files” podcast.

Tom explained to Nick Viall that we randomly crossed paths at TomTom,” he said. “It’s quite ironic, but at around the same time, I made a promise – not just to myself, but to the universe too. I vowed to stay single and focus on work for the next two years without any social engagements or dating. And then, guess what? I ran into her.

A significant portion of the first season of Vanderpump Rules, which premiered in 2013, centered around the turmoil stemming from Jax’s infidelity with Stassi in Las Vegas. Following his encounters with fellow cast member Kristen Doute during season two, the relationship between Jax and Stassi ended permanently.

Their wedding special was subsequently aired on Bravo not long afterwards.

In April 2021, Jax and Brittany gave birth to their initial baby boy, named Cruz, a year following their departure from the show.

Regrettably, it was confirmed in February 2024 that they parted ways, with Brittany leaving their shared home. In August of the same year, she formally submitted divorce papers.

After splitting up with Kristen Doute, Tom started dating Ariana when she joined the cast during season three filming in 2013. Over the next nine years, this pair became one of VPR’s most consistent couples, purchasing a home, adopting dogs, and even collaborating on a cocktail book together.

In a surprising turn of events that left many stunned, I found myself grappling with the news of my co-owner’s seven-month relationship with a fellow cast member, which became public knowledge in March 2023. This revelation, unfortunately, led to the end of our partnership and the breakup between him and Ariana. The stability that TomTom was known for seemed to falter amidst this unexpected development.

After the cheating scandal broke out, Tom has attributed a lack of emotional connection as one factor that drove them apart. Additionally, he stated they were already separated when news about his infidelity emerged; however, it was revealed that Tom and Raquel shared their first kiss in August 2022, prior to Ariana discovering the truth.

Approximately a month following Ariana’s split from Tom due to his infidelity with Raquel, the renowned reality star shifted gears by starting a relationship with personal trainer Daniel Wai. In April 2023, during the first weekend of Coachella, they were seen sharing intimate moments and getting close, hinting at their budding romance.

They are still going strong over one year later.

After divorcing her ex-husband, Mike Shay, in 2017, Scheana encountered Brock through mutual friends in San Diego. Their first encounter was love at first sight. The duo welcomed their daughter, Summer Moon Honey, in April 2021 and later got married.

In the tenth season of VPR (Vanderpump Rules), Scheana and Brock’s August 2022 Cancún wedding was featured, but it wasn’t until the April 2023 episode that she disclosed on the show they had a secret legal marriage a year before their destination ceremony.

After six years of dating, the longtime couple tied the knot in August 2016. But their stormy relationship, which was often showcased on Bravo series, led to years of conflict and disagreements. Eventually, Katie reached her limit. In total, they were together for twelve years before Katie chose to end her marriage with the co-owner of TomTom in March 2022 by filing for divorce.

Initially maintaining a cordial relationship post-breakup, Tom’s kiss with Raquel in August 2022 shattered any hopes for continued friendship between them. In season 10 of VPR, Katie began seeing 26-year-old actor Satchel Clendenin, but the two are now no longer together.

Tom is also currently single.

For a period of five years, James and Raquel were romantically involved and even became engaged. However, they parted ways in November 2021. Later on, the ex-beauty queen attributed some of their separation to James’ anger problems.

At VPR’s ninth season reunion, which took place in January 2022, it was disclosed that James and Raquel had hardly engaged in intimate moments during the two years prior to their separation.

James briefly date Kristen after joining the show during season 3, but the two broke up in 2015.

In just two months following his separation from Raquel, James was seen out with a fresh companion, Ally Lewber, in January 2022. They graced their first official red carpet event as a couple the following month.

Initially, Ally appeared on “Vanderpump Rules” during its tenth season’s premiere, and subsequently, viewers witnessed the pair deciding to share a home together.

In December 2024, there was a setback in their relationship when James was detained for allegations of domestic violence following an incident with an unidentified individual. By the subsequent month, it was revealed that they had parted ways, citing James’ legal predicament arising from the accusations, which ultimately did not lead to any formal charges against him.

In October 2021, the actress and film producer who is known for her role on Bravo ended their three-year relationship. Prior to their separation, they had a daughter named Ocean, born in March 2021. Lala attributed part of their breakup to accusations that Randall was unfaithful, which he has since denied.

In the tenth season of “VPR”, Lala admitted that she hadn’t been intimate since their split, yet she re-entered the dating scene by getting involved with a man during a girlfriends’ vacation at Lake Havasu.

Lala is currently still single and mingling, as is Randall.

In her Disrespectfully podcast in October 2024, she expressed that he makes her feel incredibly unique and he himself is truly extraordinary. She went on to say that she is extremely joyful about the situation.
