After more than three decades, the threesome is finally receiving their recognition, as Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past, a 2D action RPG, has been announced for multiple platforms, with an anticipated release in 2026. With The Big Cheese planning to bribe animators in order to become playable and ultimately be crowned Emperor of Little Tokyo, only the Samurai Pizza Cats, boasting their signature self-awareness (“We have nine lives, plus extra lives!”), can thwart his plans.
