Prepare for another exciting ride in the anime world, as the popular series “Go! Go! Loser Ranger” is gearing up for its second season this April. The manga, which began in 2021, has been continuously releasing new chapters under the guidance of creator Negi Haruba. However, fans may notice some delayed chapter releases due to Haruba’s temporary absence from the manga, as he is taking a break to focus on his health.
The Go! Go! Loser Ranger social media platform announced that the upcoming installment of “Sentai Daishikkaku,” originally planned for today’s Weekly Shonen Magazine issue 12, has been postponed due to Haruba-sensei’s poor health. This week’s issue and the following one, Weekly Shonen Magazine No. 13, will also be on hiatus for the same reason. Fans of the series can look forward to the manga resuming soon as Kodansha has already set a return date.

I’ve just learned that the official social media account for the renowned anime franchise has eased concerns about the creator’s health by sharing an update. Here’s what they said: “Haruba-sensei is making progress with his health, and he’s set to resume writing in the upcoming 14th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, due out on March 5th. We extend our gratitude for your ongoing support as we follow the adventures of ‘Sentai Daishikkaku.’
Health problems within the manga production sector are distressingly prevalent, a topic we’ve covered extensively here at egmr.ru. The visionaries behind series such as Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia, Berserk, and numerous others have poured their heart and soul into their narratives, occasionally leading to dire situations. Given the frequent publishing schedules of manga (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), this field can be extraordinarily grueling. We are praying for a swift recovery for Haruba as he grapples with his current health challenges.
Loser Ranger Season 2 Details
The next installment of “Loser Ranger’s” anime series, its second season, will debut in Japan on April 13th this coming spring. Footsoldier D continues his mission to defeat the Divine Dragon Rangers, and has managed to infiltrate their ranks. However, his progress may soon encounter obstacles. In North America, the second season will be available exclusively on Hulu at a later date this spring.
In a recent interview, director Keiichi Sato mentioned that the dark anime he’s working on was inspired by “The Boys”, stating: “There are numerous anti-hero stories in Japan and abroad, like ‘The Boys’. The anime ‘Go! Go! Loser Ranger!’, which features a villainous main character clashing with a hero of justice who hides a dark side, shares some similarities with ‘The Boys’. Additionally, the story takes an unanticipated turn, much like foreign dramas. This was the image I had in mind when creating this anime. If I were to make an anime based on ‘Go! Go! Loser Ranger!’, I aimed for a tone reminiscent of foreign dramas.
