Facebook’s Worst Fake, AI-Generated Disney Sequel Posters

Over the past several years, it is likely that, while browsing your Facebook timeline, you may have encountered one or more phony film posters that are clearly computer-generated and not genuine.

Disney has suffered significantly from this occurrence, mainly due to its distinctive artistic style that holds such influence and can be imitated by artificial intelligence.

Although AI is indeed blurring the lines between reality and illusion on the internet for many users, there are some pieces of content that are so extraordinary or eerie that they cannot be mistaken as authentic.

Recently, I’ve come across some utterly hilarious Disney movie posters online that are so far from reality, they’re absolutely priceless! Here’s my take on them: “I can’t stop laughing at these absurdly fake Disney movie posters circulating on the web. They’re pure gold!

I wholeheartedly recommend caution when engaging with the posts below, as they seem to reference nonexistent films. Please refrain from clicking on any links associated with them for your safety and peace of mind.

Frozen 3 — We have a dopplelgänger in our midst

How essential is it for a Frozen sequel to have multiple Elsas? Would the story involve a lethal snowball fight between two Elsas to decide who’s superior? Could they perform a poignant duet about personal growth while merging into a chilling amalgamation of ice and flesh, reminiscent of The Substance?

Frozen 3 — Love is an open relationship

For Anna, the size of someone’s foot might not hold significance, but she seems quite fond of Kristoff and is willing to introduce a doppelganger as a third party, despite his resembling a centaur if observed closely. (And how are Sven and Olaf faring, by the way?)

Frozen 3 — They fly now? They fly now!

It seems that Elsa is abandoning her royal duties as a Disney princess and instead focuses on rescuing Gotham in this particular storyline (though there might be a Mr. Freeze pun hidden somewhere, but much like many parents, we’re experiencing ‘Frozen’ burnout).

Pinocchio 2 — I’m literally so scared right now

This transformation scene on Pleasure Island is 100% more chilling than any other. What’s going on with those empty and lifeless eyes? Is that Tinker Bell we see? But what about Jiminy Cricket? Did he turn into a bug, maybe a cockroach? And why is Cleo the fish floating up there? Goodness gracious, she can’t survive without water!

Wreck-It Ralph 3 — Not-so-ready player one…

Could it be that Ralph kept striking his own face, leading to a stronger resemblance to Popeye the Sailor with bulging muscles? This scene appears oddly out of place, suggesting we might want to shut down this game for good.

Monsters, Inc. 3 — Put that thing back where it came from or so help me

The disorganized jumble of this poster featuring Mike in an odd pose and Sulley appearing as if he’s yearning to devour me like sushi at Harryhausen’s is more chilling than the Scare Floor, even surpassing it with a nonsensical “English language” tagline that resembles real words. (Bonus points for the playful and whimsical “Alphabet Soup” tagline.)

Monsters, Inc. 3 — From Monstropolis to Tron City

It seems that Mike and Sulley have significantly deviated from their usual appearance, giving off a vibe reminiscent of characters from the movie “Tron”. Perhaps they stumbled through the wrong portal in the factory…

Encanto 2 — Wrong family

Mirabel discovered that the product was a Manic Panic copy, but much like Bruno, there were certain things that just weren’t discussed concerning this supposed dupe.

Encanto 2 — What happened to the donkeys?

In this version, Mirabel appears even more like herself, undeniably so, yet instead of the dancing donkeys from the original film, we find ourselves with a herd of alpaca-like creatures sporting horns, though it’s worth mentioning that real alpacas do not have horns.

Moana 3 — Sail away, sail away, sail away

As of now, there’s no official confirmation about Moana 3. However, should it be produced, we can confidently assume it won’t feature the unsettling, Lovecraftian horror of a one-armed Moana torso merged with Maui’s chest and lower body.

Ratatouille 2 — Call the health department

It’s clearly not Remy, everyone can tell. What’s making us uneasy though, is this fake’s twisted, triple-clawed foot. Seems AI still struggles with hand-like structures.

Coco 2 — Bury it

Sometimes, dead is better.

Brave 2 — Change her fate (and her face)

In the realm of Disney-Pixar’s masterpieces, “Brave” stands out for its vibrant visuals. However, this imitation seems to lack the sparkle and vitality, more like a worn-out tapestry than the original.

Finding Nemo 3 — Stay out of the water

1. Initially, the design of this fake poster is a blatant imitation of the 2003 movie’s authentic theatrical poster.

2. Furthermore, why does it appear so frightening? What caused the fish to distort and dissolve? Where are the eyes of Bruce supposed to be seen?

The Incredibles 3 — Gone girl

We’re not necessarily clamoring for another Incredibles sequel – it’s one of Disney-Pixar’s lesser-known but brilliant superhero franchises – but if they do make one, we hope the entire family is involved. After all, where is Violet, and who are the two new children introduced?

Toy Story 5 — Counting sheepherders

If not for the unexpected twist with Bo Peep appearing twice, we might have been deceived. Frankly, it seems as though artificial intelligence is excessively fond of introducing look-alikes whenever possible.

Beauty and the Beast 2 — Human (or something) again

In this poster, while Belle and the Beast seem somewhat normal, it appears as if every other character in the background is withering at an accelerated rate, reminiscent of a wilting, enchanted rose. Could this be the Uncanny Valley effect? Instead, let’s call it the Uncanny Kingdom!

On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan earthquake (or Tohoku earthquake) caused immense destruction in Japan. This massive earthquake, measuring 9.1 on the Richter scale, ranked as the fourth strongest earthquake ever recorded. Regrettably, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea were not spared from this terrifying situation, leading to evacuation of guests into an open outdoor space where they spent the night for safety reasons. Fortunately, the designers who built these theme parks had anticipated such incidents, resulting in only minor damages to the parks.

Walt Disney World Bus Bomb Scare

In September 2019, a bus driver found a mysterious item on his bus at Walt Disney World. This discovery led to a bomb scare that caused many of the resort’s activities and functions to be suspended. However, four hours later, it was determined that the object was harmless.

Back in December 2017, a faulty transformer led to a power disruption at the adored California theme park. Approximately a dozen attractions in Fantasyland and Toontown were impacted, with guests on the rides being guided out via emergency exits. Normal power was restored after about five hours.

For decades, caretakers at Disneyland and Walt Disney World have encountered numerous instances where individuals secretly bring their deceased relatives’ remains in plastic bags or pill containers and scatter them on rides, with Haunted Mansion being the most frequently chosen location. They even have a designated code for such incidents: “HEPA cleanup.” It is said that staff members employ an ultra-fine vacuum cleaner at least once a month to collect the ashes.

Influencer Sits on Guest’s Feet for Better Parade View

On October 2nd, 2021, it is said that an influencer allegedly placed her feet on a visitor’s lap in Main Street USA at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom during the Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade. This event features floats, characters, and dancers, similar to a parade but shorter in length. The self-proclaimed influencer, who claims to have around 20,000 followers on Instagram, positioned her feet on the ground, posing a safety risk as the floats could run over them, and characters might trip. Cast Members requested the unnamed woman to relocate. Initially, she declined, but eventually departed the area, disappearing when the police were summoned.

In May 2018, a disturbing incident occurred at Disneyland, California. A man acting strangely was witnessed shouting and falling to the ground. Upon being approached by a staff member, this unidentified individual assaulted an elderly security guard by punching him. He further attempted to embrace another staff member before being brought down by two police officers.

Passengers at different levels are enjoying a bird’s-eye view on Disneyland’s Soarin’ Over California, thanks to the big screen mimicking flight. However, an unexpected incident occurred in March 2022 when the ride malfunctioned during operation, leaving passengers momentarily suspended in mid-air. Fortunately, the seating arrangement allows for a comfortable position with legs dangling, making the situation bearable for most. Nevertheless, those with a fear of heights might have found it an unnerving experience.
