As a dedicated Marvel fan, I can’t help but eagerly anticipate the exciting slate of movies and series set to premiere this year. Yet, amidst all the hype for new releases, there’s always a special place in my heart reserved for some beloved shows that might make a comeback. Two such series that have been on my mind are Marvel’s festive action-adventure, Hawkeye, and the enchanting Agatha All Along.
It’s been a while since we heard any updates about a second season for Hawkeye, but in a recent chat with Entertainment Weekly, Brad Winderbaum, the Head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel, dropped some exciting news. He hinted that they are actively considering the chance to revisit both Agatha All Along and Hawkeye, which has certainly put a spring in my step!
Back in 2021, Hawkeye premiered on Disney+, and there have been whispers about a second season being developed ever since. However, nothing substantial has emerged until now. But here’s the good news: Marvel has confirmed that they are indeed considering another season, so we can at least rest assured that discussions about it are underway.
Speaking as a fan, I wholeheartedly agree with Winderbaum’s sentiments. The captivating charm of “Hawkeye” series, with its heartwarming characters Clint and Kate, makes it an ideal candidate for a second season. Its Christmas setting adds to the allure, making it a timeless tale that can be revisited whenever one wishes. I, too, eagerly await potential chances to delve back into this compelling narrative.
In their progression with the shows, Winderbaum mentioned they aim to create a series that can span over several seasons, allowing for yearly releases.
In the discussion, Winderbaum mentioned they were considering a second season for Agatha All Along, although they’re eager to do so, they stressed the importance of taking their time. “For me,” Winderbaum explained, “a show like Agatha is centered around its concept. While a second season is definitely something we’re interested in, it’s crucial that we don’t hurry. We need to develop the right concept first and then produce it.
