Disney Dreamlight Valley Update Brings Game-Changing Features You Won’t Want to Miss!

The much-anticipated Tales of Agrabah update for Disney Dreamlight Valley is set to drop in a matter of days, and Gameloft has been gradually revealing what we can look forward to when it’s released. Consistent with their usual approach, this free update will focus on enhancing the game’s overall performance by making improvements across various aspects such as cooking, decorating, the Premium Shop, and player inventory management. Although these adjustments may not be as visually striking as fresh characters or a new realm to explore, they are certain to bring joy to many players.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, cooking changes are being introduced to streamline meal creation for players. A search bar is being added to the cooking menu, which allows players to filter recipes and find them quickly by typing in ingredients such as “Okra” and discovering dishes like Okra Soup or Gumbo. Additionally, new sorting tabs will be implemented, organizing restaurant orders and quest-related requests for easy access. Characters, such as Tiana, are also introducing a new Slow Cooker item. This item allows players to prepare multiple meals simultaneously, an option previously only available through the A Rift in Time DLC. However, the new Slow Cooker will now be accessible to all players.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, updates are being made to the player’s inventory. Each item now has a small icon associated with it, indicating whether it originates from The Valley, or either of the two purchased DLC expansions. Additionally, items belonging to Villagers will display an icon if it is their favorite gift for that particular day. This is beneficial as giving Villagers their preferred gifts is a frequent task in Star Path quests. Furthermore, the game is introducing a feature that allows players to adjust the size of rooms within their residence, expanding one room while contracting others, thereby providing more flexibility and customization options.

As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that a fantastic new feature has been unveiled in Disney Dreamlight Valley: the ability to ‘bookmark’ items in the Premium Shop! Now, you can reserve up to 2 items that catch your eye, ensuring they stay put until you decide to purchase them or swap them for another bookmarked item.

This means, if there’s a captivating bundle like the Mini Reindeer Bundle or Cloud Cottage that I adore but haven’t managed to gather enough Moonstones yet, I can simply bookmark it and not have to worry about it disappearing from the shop. The positive responses this change has received are testament to its value, and fellow players can hardly wait to make use of it!

Fortunately, we’re not far off from witnessing these enhancements in Disney Dreamlight Valley, as the Tales of Agrabah update is due for release on Wednesday, February 26th. The specific time for the launch hasn’t been disclosed yet, but considering past updates, players might anticipate it to go live around 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
