Square Enix Announces NieR Series’ 15th Anniversary Livestream

Good news for fans of gloomy games, Square Enix is set to host a 15th-anniversary livestream for the acclaimed Nier series. Since the launch of the cult hit NieR: Automata eight years ago, we’ve been eagerly waiting to find out what Yoko Taro has in store for us next.

On April 19th, viewers worldwide will join a live-streamed anniversary event, enduring nearly three hours of suspenseful anticipation for an answer, as fans of the series might feel a sense of existential angst. Notably confirmed to participate are Yoko Taro, the creative director known for his quirky style, along with producer Yosuke Saito, composer Keiichi Okabe, and senior game designer Takahisa Taura from Automata.
