Previously serving as Animation Director for the first three seasons, Leo Kawamoto was let go during the production of the fourth season. Kawamoto’s work also extended to the key animations for all opening songs in the most recent season of “Bleach.” His impact on the series is undeniably significant. Recently, on February 20th, the animator took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to assure everyone that the rumors swirling around are unrelated to his interactions with fans or any health issues; instead, it’s a matter of his own skills falling short. He added with a laugh, “I’m doing well (or so I think).

For over a decade, the animator has been active in the field, lending his talent to renowned anime series like “My Hero Academia”, “One Piece”, “One Punch Man”, “Spy x Family”, “Bungo Stray Dogs” and numerous others. The following day after announcing his termination, Kawamoto additionally mentioned he had left the hospital, indicating that he hadn’t been in good health recently. Although the cause of his dismissal remains undisclosed, fans continue to rally behind him. Moreover, the post garnered a significant increase in followers, with Kawamoto finding it amusing.

What to Expect From Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4?

The title for the fourth segment is “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity” and it’s expected to wrap up the fight against Yhwach. Although Pierrot hasn’t specified a release date yet, it seems likely that we’ll see this anime in either 2025 or 2026. Since the studio has been sticking to its schedule with TYBW Arc adaptations, there’s a good possibility it will be out this year. The third part finishes around Chapter 656 of the manga, leaving approximately 30 chapters for the fourth segment to cover.

Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach, has confirmed that the final installment will feature a greater number of original scenes than previously shown. Although the main spectacle will be the confrontation between Ichigo and Yhwach, the series will also delve into the remaining top-tier Quincy guards such as Askin Nakk Le Vaar and Gerard Valkyrie.
