As a fan excitedly sharing the news, I’m thrilled to announce that the captivating city-building game reminiscent of Tetris, titled River Towns, is set to debut on PC via Steam on March 24th! This announcement comes from our trusted publishers, Metaroot and Stray Fawn Publishing, along with Frogsong Studios. To get a sneak peek, a demo is currently available as part of the Steam Next Fest: February 2025 Edition. Can’t wait to dive in and start constructing my own vibrant cityscapes!

About
In the game named “River Towns”, you arrange various structures with distinct shapes within a confined space. By blending distinctive districts, you’ll bring life to a captivating urban environment and contribute to the restoration of these charming river settlements.
Puzzle a River Town
In each of the three districts, distinct collections of shapes are mixed up haphazardly, ensuring that every game you engage in presents a fresh, one-of-a-kind challenge. The diverse and colorful architecture of these districts forms charming towns along the river, which expand as more residents join, revitalizing this once decaying and desolate landscape.
Earn Points
Buildings are located in distinct districts with varying colors, and earning bonuses when these areas are linked together in sizeable groups. Achieving high scores on each stage grants stars, which serve to restore the world and additionally unlock further stages for exploration.
Each Level is Different
Kickstarting each town involves revitalizing a section of the once-dried river and constructing buildings around it. As you progress through the game, tasks like gathering gold, replanting trees, and restoring ancient monuments present themselves. This mechanism significantly alters the challenge and scoring potential in your favor.
Progression
1) As you construct each city, the world gradually grows greener.
2) Upon finishing a stage, you’ll earn either a golden, silver, or bronze badge based on your performance.
3) Accumulate enough points and advance to the following world.
