The intriguing detective series, “The Marlow Murder Club,” created by Robert Thorogood of “Death in Paradise” fame, is nearly ready to return to our television screens, and we have the release date for its second season!
I can’t wait to tune in on Wednesday, 19th March at 8 pm, where I’ll be reunited with the talented cast of my favorite show – Samantha Bond, Jo Martin, Cara Horgan, and Natalie Dew. This exciting first episode of season 2 will air on U&Drama, and if that’s not enough, the entire season will be available for streaming on U from that very same date!
In the trailer, it’s shown that Judith, Suzie, and Becks are appointed as civilians advisors by Tanika, and later delve into investigating additional cases within a picturesque, suburban town known as the home counties.
You can watch the trailer at the top of this article now.

Instead of having two 90-minute episodes for the initial season, this upcoming season will consist of six one-hour episodes, divided into three sets of two episodes each.
In the initial installments, we’ll be adapting Lucian Thorogood’s second novel from the Marlow Murder Club series titled “Death Comes to Marlow”. The subsequent episodes, however, will present entirely fresh tales penned by new authors – Lucia Haynes and Julia Gilbert.
Notable actors joining us in upcoming episodes are Nina Sosanya, Samantha Womack, Hugh Quarshie, Patrick Robinson, Tom Stourton, Caroline Langrishe, James Wilby, Elizabeth Bennett, Camilla Beeput, and James Gaddas.
Towards the end of last year, Horgan expressed optimism about the prospect of additional seasons for the program beyond season 2. She mentioned that they are eager for these stories to carry on and were pleased that the audience is enjoying it.
