Chris Pratt discusses the possibility of reprising his role as Star-Lord in the upcoming Marvel film “Avengers: Doomsday”. This highly anticipated fifth Avengers movie features Robert Downey Jr.’s return as Doctor Doom, with the Russo Brothers directing. With such a star-studded lineup, the film is expected to be a significant event, and the addition of the Fantastic Four only adds to the excitement. Fans have been curious about Star-Lord’s potential appearance in “Doomsday”, as the conclusion of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III” hinted at his future return. Now, Pratt is giving fans a clue about when they might see him again.
Jimmy Kimmel welcomed Chris Pratt on his show for a discussion about “The Electric State”, Pratt’s upcoming Netflix film produced by the Russo Brothers, and various other topics. Towards the end of their chat, the conversation veered towards the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with Kimmel asking Pratt directly if he would be appearing in the next Avengers movie. “Can you give us any hints about this?”, Kimmel asked, “Is Star-Lord going to feature in this?
For fans familiar with the Marvel universe, we produced “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III,” and it marked Star-Lord’s final appearance for now. However, there was a pledge that Star-Lord would make a comeback. Kimmel immediately responded by referring to him as “The Legendary Star-Lord,” a nickname Star-Lord bestows upon himself.
Doomsday, it does suggest that Marvel still has plans for the cosmic outlaw and leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Russo Brothers provided insights about “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”, during the promotion of “The Electric State”. Joe Russo stated to Deadline, “We’re filming them in London, one after the other. It’s a lot of effort again. Whether we make it through or not, that remains to be seen.
He expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We’re genuinely thrilled about it! We’ve discovered a path into the narrative that we believe will be intriguing for viewers, and it’s quite demanding for us to bring to life. It’s invigorating for us, it motivates us to jump out of bed and work on it.
It’s being said that filming for “Avengers: Doomsday” will take place in March, while production for “Avengers: Secret Wars” is expected to start the following summer. Benedict Cumberbatch has already confirmed his role as Doctor Strange in “Avengers: Doomsday”, having previously stated that the character wouldn’t be involved due to a change in the story’s focus from Kang the Conqueror to Doctor Doom.
In my previous attempt, I may have stumbled a bit, but I’m ready to correct course and shine in the upcoming instance, as I shared with Business Insider. Remember, take everything I say with a pinch of salt.
According to reports, Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell are likely to appear in the upcoming film “Avengers: Doomsday“. It’s unclear if they will reprise their roles as Captain America and Peggy Carter, or if they might take on other characters such as Human Torch for Evans, and Captain Carter for Atwell.
