Here is an overview of the game, via PiXEL:

The game titled “Uta and Forest Spirit’s House” features an exclusive twist on the block breaker genre using twin-sticks. With the left stick, you release the spirit named Mew, while the protagonist Uta is maneuvered with the right stick.

In a grand mansion inhabited by adorable yet somewhat spooky supernatural beings, Uta is planning an escape, relying on Mew for assistance as she endeavors to seal off the pathway to the realm of these supernatural creatures.

Progress through each subsequent phase by employing the abilities of items that spontaneously appear and the helpful spirits, or youkai, you encounter on your journey. These items can be upgraded in Rokuro’s Youkai Shop, enhancing your ability to conquer even the most challenging levels. The gameplay, which is based on physics, offers an unpredictable experience that appeals to both novice and seasoned gamers.

The game also features hand-drawn yokai and special effects.

Eiji, renowned for compositions such as “The Most Worthless Human Beings in the Universe” and “Together We Live”, is the composer of this music. Furthermore, Norio Nakagata is responsible for the main theme and additional music.
