Trina McGee Chooses Sides in Dramatic Danielle and Maitland Feud Drama!

Trina McGee is picking a side.

The actress who portrayed Angela Moore on “Boy Meets World” shared her stance in response to the renewed dispute between her former costars Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward, leaving no room for ambiguity about her position.

Trina posted on Instagram, “I’ve never been prouder of @daniellefishel in the second half of that show (the recent Pod Meets World episode), as she spoke assertively and stood firm amidst Danielle and Maitland‘s ongoing tension. I admire her approach to handling situations, which is why I resonate with her.

The actress, known for her role in the spin-off “Girl Meets World,” later shared mysterious thoughts about the importance of supporting the people you strongly believe in.

Trina pointed out that backing someone doesn’t necessarily mean they share your values. At times, those you help may prioritize their own interests over yours. They might stir up conflict not for honesty’s sake but to draw attention – they’re attention-seekers, power grabbers. Rather than sailing alongside you, they prefer causing a crash so they can appear the hero amidst the chaos.

She continued, “They take advantage of you when you’re vulnerable, only for a quick profit. It was a tough lesson, but one I’ve learned thoroughly. And from it, I’ve grown stronger. Now, I scrutinize the intent behind my assistance. I seek healing and growth, not disorder and ruin.

Trina finished by saying, “Real ones move with integrity. The rest expose themselves.”

I couldn’t contain my excitement as I rushed to comment on my former co-star’s latest post, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their public display of support. It truly means the world to me!

What a wonderful surprise, Trina! Our shared experiences, whether they were side by side or distant, have shaped us in remarkable ways. I appreciate every moment, for it has made us stronger. My heart is full of love for you.

Trina intervened in the dispute between Danielle and Maitland by posting a series of three TikTok videos, each accompanied by audio clips from their intense podcast conversation. One video appeared to hint at recording a future podcast episode. Notably, following her comments on the feud, she revealed plans for a new podcast called “Back to the ’90s“. Danielle expressed enthusiasm about this new venture, saying “I’m looking forward to giving it a listen!

Danielle responded to her old co-star’s post in the comments, expressing gratitude for the public display of encouragement she received.

What a wonderful gesture, Trina! Our shared experiences – whether side by side or separately – have shaped us significantly for the better. My heart swells with affection for you.

Trina intervened in the dispute between Danielle and Maitland by posting a series of three TikTok videos, each accompanied by audio from their intense podcast argument. One video seemed to hint at recording a new podcast episode. Notably, following her input on the quarrel, she revealed that she’s starting a podcast called “Back to the ’90s”. Danielle expressed enthusiasm about listening to it.

Trina’s reply followed a day after the ongoing dispute between Danielle and Maitland, regarding their years-long conflict, was made known to the public.

In addition to other allegations, Maitland claimed that her ex-co-star stopped talking to her and removed her as a friend from Facebook around the time when Girl Meets World debuted in 2014. However, these actions were denied by Danielle.

Danielle reminisced about feeling pleased when she received Maitland’s congratulatory message about the spinoff. She then asked Will if he could ask Maitland for her phone number so she could apologize to her personally. However, you replied that it would be better to hold off and discuss it on the podcast as it might boost ratings.

After discussing various aspects multiple times, it eventually became clear that Danielle and the other actress had different perspectives on these matters.

She noted that our memories are uniquely ours, yet equally valuable, she explained. It was pleasant to recall past moments together, both the joyous ones and those less favorable.

Savage played Cory Matthews on Boy Meets World, which anchored ABC’s TGIF lineup from 1993 to 2000.

After graduating from Stanford in 2004 with a political science degree, he made appearances on TV shows like “Party of Five” and “Chuck,” as well as some independent films. Later, he worked alongside his former TV sweetheart Danielle Fishel in the 2014 Disney Channel spin-off “Girl Meets World,” reprising their roles from a previous project.

After the show ended in 2017, Savage (who is the older brother of Fred Savage, star of “The Wonder Years”) has been seen on various series such as “The Leftovers”, “Speechless”, “Criminal Minds” (portraying a young Jason Gideon), and “Homeland” (as a younger version of Saul, making it the second time he played a character similar to Mandy Patinkin’s). Although he hasn’t been on his co-stars’ “Pod Meets World” podcast yet, Savage and Fishel reunited in 2021 for a romantic comedy spoof promoting Panera Bread as the ideal spot for a date.

For several years, his Instagram posts hinted at a serious relationship resembling a wedding partner. However, he managed to keep her identity under wraps until he proposed and revealed in March 2023 that he had married his longtime sweetheart, Tessa Angermeier.

In 2022, Savage attempted but failed to secure a position on the West Hollywood City Council, and in 2024, he aimed for, but was unsuccessful in obtaining a seat in Congress.

From playing Topanga Lawrence (later Matthews) on “Boy Meets World” and its spinoff “Girl Meets World,” Fishel, who famously shared a first kiss with Ben Savage on screen, predominantly portrayed herself on television. Her off-screen roles included serving as a correspondent on “The Tyra Banks Show” and hosting Style Network’s “The Dish.” At the age of 27, she also returned to college and graduated in 2012.

She initially encountered her first spouse, Tim Belusko, at school, and they stayed married for two years before parting ways amicably in 2016. Later, in the year 2018, she tied the knot with Drop the Mic host, Jensen Karp. Notable attendees at their wedding included her former co-stars Savage (who sent his warm congratulations to his favorite TV wife on her engagement) and Will Friedle.

In June 2019, Fishel and Karp became parents to a son named Adler, followed by the arrival of their second son, Keaton, in August 2021. The stylishly-coiffed actress, not only welcomed new family members but also introduced her own hair care line, Be Free by Danielle Fishel. After directing several episodes of ‘Girl Meets World’, she continued her directorial journey, working on episodes for Disney Channel’s ‘Sydney to the Max’, ‘Raven’s Home’, and both versions of ‘Lopez vs. Lopez’.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that I co-host a podcast called “Pod Meets World” alongside Eric Friedle and Rider Strong. In an episode from August 2024, Hilary Fishel revealed her diagnosis with DCIS – a type of breast cancer that she specified as being “technically stage zero.

She assured everyone, “I’ll be alright. I’m having an operation to get rid of it. Afterwards, I’ll need some additional care.

Following his role as Shawn Hunter on “Boy Meets World”, Strong became well-known for appearing in Eli Roth’s 2002 horror sleeper hit, “Cabin Fever”, and its 2009 sequel. He also starred in the short-lived television series “Pepper Dennis” and provided the voice for Brick Flagg in the animated series “Kim Possible”. Later, he reprised his role as Shawn in seven episodes of “Girl Meets World”.

Apart from his on-screen roles, Strong has ventured behind the scenes too, penning, directing, and producing several short films, as well as the 2017 TV movie titled “Micah the Jerk Ghost” alongside his brother Shiloh Strong. Their collaboration is significant as Shiloh was initially cast for the role of Eric Matthews in a different project. His recent directorial work, “Typhoon—We’re In It,” was recognized as the Best Music Video at the Vortex Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Film Festival in October 2022.

In 2013, Strong married Alexandra Barreto and their son, Indigo, was born in December 2014.

In a recent appearance on “Girl Meets World,” Friedle reprised his role as Eric Matthews, but in the interim, his voice has become omnipresent in animated series such as “Kim Possible,” “Teen Titans Go!,” “DC Super Hero Girls,” Disney XD’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” (as Star Lord Peter Quill), and “The Legend of Vox Machina.

Prior to attending Fishel and Karp’s wedding, he had served as the best man at the 2004 wedding of “Step by Step” star Jason Marsden, which represented the pinnacle of TGIF crossover programming. In December 2019, he was spotted wearing a T-shirt bearing Topanga’s image, a stylish touch provided by his future podcast partner’s hair care brand.

Friedle married Susan Martens in 2016.

Daniel, who won two Emmys for his role in St. Elsewhere and was also a cast member of the musical 1776 as well as the voice behind K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, gained a new legion of followers by portraying Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World.

Following his tenure as Screen Actors Guild president from 1999 to 2001, Daniels went on to appear as a guest star in shows such as Scrubs, Boston Legal, The Closer, and Grey’s Anatomy in 2012. At 97 years old, his latest physical acting role was reviving the character of Mr. Feeny on Girl Meets World. He continues to attend fan conventions, but he also lent his voice for K.I.T.T. in the 2020 film Superintelligence.

As a born-and-bred New Yorker, I’ve been joyfully bound to the esteemed actress Bonnie Bartlett since 1951. Together, we are blessed with two wonderful sons.

Following her role in “Boy Meets World”, the Chicago native became notably recognized for portraying Mrs. Winterbourne on “Charmed” and made a return for several episodes of “Girl Meets World” as Amy Matthews, Cory and Eric’s mother.

In real life she’s mom to daughter Jessica and son Aaron with editor husband John Randle.

As a dedicated follower, I’d rephrase it like this: Ever since my roles in films such as The Right Stuff and American History X, I’ve been keeping quite busy as a character actor. Following my stint as Alan Matthews on Boy Meets World, I’ve made appearances on Boston Legal, The Young and the Restless, 90210, Colony, NCIS: Los Angeles, Bosch, 9-1-1, and Animal Kingdom. More recently, you might have seen me on Girl Meets World alongside my TV wife Betsy Randle.

Behind the scenes he’s dad to a son and daughter with wife Clare Wren.

At Wizard World Comic Con, as reported by Looper, Strong asserted that Minkus’ character, played by Norris, was removed from Boy Meets World due to the immense popularity of Steve Urkel from Family Matters. The creators of Boy Meets World chose not to intensify the comedic nerdiness further.

Beginning with his debut as young Chuckie Lee from “The Torkelsons,” Norris subsequently graduated from Wake Forest, took on the role of small-screen nerd Marvin “Mouth” McFadden in the long-running drama series One Tree Hill, and reprised his part as Minkus for several episodes of Girl Meets World. Since then, he has made appearances in a few episodes of The Walking Dead, worked under the direction of David Fincher in Zodiac and Gone Girl, and was featured in the 2020 WWII action drama Greyhound alongside Tom Hanks.

He’s been married to wife Andrea since 2011.

Ever since he first appeared as Shawn’s older half-brother Jack Hunter, the star of Mrs. Doubtfire has also graced the screen on the sitcom Brotherly Love alongside his real-life siblings Andrew and Joey Lawrence. His impressive career includes roles in various independent films, as well as appearances on shows such as Boston Public, CSI: Miami, Workaholics, Melissa and Joey, Hawaii 5-0, and more. He’s even dabbled in holiday cinema, starring in Mistletoe Mixup and Christmas on Repeat.

Lawrence tied the knot with professional dancer Cheryl Burke, a former contestant on Dancing With the Stars, on May 23, 2019. This was 13 years after they initially met and started dating, although they were apart for a decade during that time when she was partnered with his brother Joey on the show. They parted ways in 2022, and currently, Lawrence is in a relationship with TLC singer Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.

McGee has appeared in several TV movies made for television and short-lived TV shows. Additionally, she reprised her role as Shawn’s girlfriend Angela in an episode of Girl Meets World, even though the departure from Boy Meets World was not under ideal circumstances.

In 2022 on “Pod Meets World”, McGee revealed to Fishel, Strong, and Friedle that they had been informed their showrunner was instructed not to involve her in the 2000 series finale, leading to Angela’s sudden exit for Europe as the others were wrapping up storylines.

As an ardent admirer, I’m rephrasing this: Friedel flat-out denied any past issues and McGee expressed her remorse for any strained relationships between them during the show. She hinted at missed opportunities to collaborate more effectively. Fishel concurred, expressing a sentiment that we could have supported each other better on the show’s journey.

Previously wedded to Courtland Davis, McGee has returned to the circle of fan conventions and rejoined the mentioned group for Daniels’ 96th birthday on March 31, 2023. Besides her roles as a singer, artist, and mother, she is also the parent of Ramia, Langston, and Ezra.

2024 saw McGee announcing the anticipation of her fourth child at the age of 54. However, later in the same year, she disclosed that she had experienced a miscarriage.

McGee admitted during an episode of The Tamron Hall Show in September that he had sadly miscarried. This wasn’t something we were expecting, as it occurred near the end of the first trimester. Unfortunately, we don’t have a clear reason for this happening.

Following her role as Rachel McGuire in “Boy Meets World”, Ward later appeared alongside Marlon and Shawn Wayans in the 2004 comedy “White Chicks”. However, she achieved three AVN awards after making her debut in adult films with the release of “Drive” in 2019.

She shared with The Daily Beast in April 2021 that she discovered her fondness for acting in intimate scenes, describing it as akin to dancing or ice skating in a pair. It’s like creating a beautiful artistic work, and she finds immense pleasure in this new aspect of her career.

Furthermore, this strategy has proven successful for her, given that she is also a 2023 AVN Best Actress award recipient and the writer of the memoir titled “Rated X“.

Since 2006, she’s been married to Terry Baxter. In an interview with In Touch Weekly in January 2020, she mentioned that her real estate agent husband also happens to be a talented photographer. She shared, “He’s captured some great shots of me throughout our journey.

Initially, Shannon Nicksay portrayed Cory and Eric’s younger sister on Morgan Matthews’ set from 1993 to 1995. Later, she landed a part in the romantic drama “Up Close and Personal,” which starred Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Redford.

Throughout her childhood, this actress made appearances on several television series such as “The Mentalist,” “8 Simple Rules,” and “Judging Amy.” Later, she reprised her role as Morgan for the 2017 finale of “Girl Meets World.

She adopted the name Lily Gibson upon marrying songwriter Dave Gibson in 2015. This name was used for her in an episode of NCIS in 2019 and in the movie Four Cousins & a Christmas in 2021.

Following what seemed like the longest sleep she’d ever had, lasting a whole year, Morgan emerged from another part of the house, noticeably older and transformed into a completely new individual.

Beginning in 1996, when she stepped into Morgan’s role, she continued until the series concluded in 2000. Later, in June 2007, she completed her undergraduate studies at UC Riverside, and then obtained a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Redlands in 2010. Moreover, she is also a singer who has sung the national anthem at various sports events around Los Angeles. Part-time, she worked for the Los Angeles Kings hockey team as a member of the Kings Ice Crew.

She also came back as Morgan for the Girl Meets World finale.

Lauren got between Cory and Topanga for a mercifully brief four-episode arc.

After graduating from Boy Meets World, Cardellini moved on to the regrettably brief series Freaks and Geeks. Subsequently, she found herself in Scooby-Doo, ER, Brokeback Mountain, Mad Men (receiving an Emmy nomination for her guest role in a drama series), New Girl, and the Netflix drama Bloodline. Additionally, she became part of the Marvel Universe as Clint/Hawkeye’s wife, starred in the 2019 Best Picture Oscar winner Green Book, and was both an actress and producer on the Netflix dark comedy Dead to Me (earning Emmy nominations for Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy in 2020).

The actress is mom to daughter Lilah-Rose with longtime partner Steven Rodriguez.

Among Suplee’s notable roles since playing tough guy Frankie “The Enforcer” Stechino are appearances in films such as American History X, Remember the Titans, Unstoppable, and a four-season stint as Randy Hickey on My Name Is Earl. He has also been seen in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, the Netflix comedy series The Ranch, Edward Norton’s noir drama Motherless Brooklyn, and the controversial horror-satire film The Hunt.

Suplee is preparing several upcoming ventures, one of which involves revisiting the Kevin Smith universe in the forthcoming “Twilight of the Mallrights.

Since 2006, Suplee has been married to Brandy Lewis, and they have two kids together. Notably, in January 2020, a photo of him showcasing his transformed physique after a challenging journey to shed weight and improve his health became popular online. Ever since, he’s been an advocate for fitness and nutrition.

Following his stint as stand-in bully Griff Hawkins, Scott transformed into a charming and humorous individual, complete with the odd sarcastic remark and a melancholic, midlife-crisis-stricken husband added to the mix for balance.

Among his most notable works are the emotionally charged HBO series “Tell Me You Love Me”; the popular comedy “Step Brothers”; the much-loved revival of “Party Down” on Starz, which returned after a 13-year hiatus; the highly praised “Parks and Recreation”; the consistently amusing “The Greatest Event in Television History” on Adult Swim; “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later”; “The Good Place” and “Big Little Lies”. His first Golden Globe and Emmy nominations came from his performance as a mournful widower…or was he?…in the psychological thriller “Severance”, available on Apple TV+.

In real life Scott has two kids with Naomi Sablan, his wife since 2005.

According to Strong, he was brought onto the show because “Friends” became popular, as stated in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2011. The character Jonathan Turner, portrayed by Quinn, was a stylish and rebellious teacher who wore leather jackets and rode motorcycles. ABC felt that every show needed to appeal to young adults, even a kids’ show that was primarily watched by teenagers.

Yet, it left Shawn heartbroken when Mr. Turner was involved in a motorcycle accident at the end of season four—an incident that Turner managed to recover from behind-the-scenes and reappeared only later on Girl Meets World, having married a nurse he had met in the hospital following the accident.

During that time, Quinn appeared on “Melrose Place” for a four-year run, made an appearance on “Pretty Little Liars” in 2012, and showed up on “Feud: Betty and Joan” in 2017.

He’s been married to Margaret Quinn since 1985 and they have two children.
