Gran Turismo 7’s Free PS5, PS4 Update Adds 3 New Cars and More Single Player Content

Despite the ongoing discussions about Sony’s unsuccessful live service project, the post-launch support for Gran Turismo 7 has been exceptionally great. This week sees the release of a free update, offering three extra vehicles along with some exciting extras tailored for fans of the series.

But first, let’s get to when you can expect to enjoy it:

  • North America: 10pm (Wed) PST / 11pm (Wed) MST / 12am CST / 1am EST
  • UK/Ire: 6am GMT
  • Europe: 7am CET / 8am EET
  • Asia/Oceania: 3pm JST / 2pm AWST / 5pm AEDT

* The update will be accessible on the US West Coast at the specified times on February 26th, while it will become available worldwide on February 27th.

So, what can you expect?

This time around, there are only three vehicles, but they’re quite exciting: a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i, a 1962 Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411, and a 1988 Peugeot 205 GTI. You can acquire each of these vehicles from different dealerships within the game. To be honest, we’re really craving that 1988 Peugeot.

If you’re fond of Peugeots, a new menu will be included in the single-player GT Café mode that honors the diverse automobiles crafted by this renowned French manufacturer.

Additional enhancements involve broadening the scope of Polyphony Digital’s advanced AI racer, GT Sophy, to additional race tracks, and introducing fresh competitions within the World Circuits mode to challenge your racing skills.

Here, there’s a wealth of fun experiences to be had, and what makes it even better is that these perks come at no cost for those who own the game. This truly embodies the type of ongoing support we wholeheartedly endorse!
