Kanye West Claps Back at Bhad Bhabie

Kanye West is clearing his name.

Shortly following Bhad Bhabie‘s use of Kanye’s song within her Alabama Barker diss track “Ms. Whitman”, the rapper openly expressed his stance on the matter.

He stated on his Instagram Stories on February 25th that he has no involvement in the ongoing AI debate, adding that people are misrepresenting his voice regarding the ‘Carnival’ sample issue.

The long-lasting dispute started when Bhad Bhabie claimed Alabama stole her boyfriend Le Vaughn, father of her 11-month-old daughter Kali Love, and had relationships with both Tyga and Soulja Boy in the song “Over Cooked” that she released in January.

Shortly afterward, Alabama, the daughter of Travis Barker and former partner Shanna Moakler, as well as stepdaughter to Kourtney Kardashian, retaliated with a scathing rap song titled “Cry Bhabie” of her own.

Despite a long history of public tension between them, Kanye, who has children North (age 11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5) with his ex, Kim Kardashian, claimed he wasn’t aware of this situation. After Bhad Bhabie took it a step further by featuring a person resembling the Blink-182 drummer in her music video, the “I Wonder” rapper reached out to Travis Scott directly to clear up the confusion.

He mentioned on his Instagram Story that he had a conversation with Travis Barker. “I’m not someone who gets caught in the middle of things,” he added, “and honestly, I have no idea what’s happening.

The rapper known for his lack of empathy explained further that he agreed to clear the sample because it had been challenging when numerous individuals have attempted to prevent him in the past. He emphasized that he consistently grants permission for samples whenever requested, but found issue with how it was utilized this particular time.

He went on to say, “I’m absolutely uncomfortable being caught up in all this, so if any song using my voice becomes popular, it’s like—I didn’t have a hand in it.

Besides incorporating Kanye’s sample, Bhad Bhabie’s track references the connection between Alabama and the Kardashians as well.

The lyrics of the song suggest: “That questionable woman was responsible for your expulsion from the Kardashian home,” and in case there was any ambiguity about whom the song referred to, Bhad Bhabie made it clear. She said, “Wow, Alabama. You’re promiscuous, Alabama. Are you foolish enough to believe I’d share anything with you? You’re dumb and filthy woman. I wouldn’t even tell you what color my socks are wearing.
