PlayStation Plus Free Games for March 2025 Revealed (And They’re Shocking)

In March 2025, PlayStation Plus will be offering some surprising free games, and for a change, these titles are relatively new. Unlike the older games typically offered on PS Plus, this upcoming selection includes an enormous RPG that debuted less than half a year prior. While day-one additions have been common in the past, they’re usually smaller games. However, any AAA games added to PS Plus are usually at least a couple of years old. But for March 2025, PlayStation Plus subscribers can expect a fresh addition that buckes the trend!

Starting next week on March 4th, PlayStation Plus members across all tiers will receive access to three games: “Dragon Age: The Veilguard”, “Sonic Colors: Ultimate”, and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection”. Among these, the most notable is “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” as it was just recently released by BioWare and EA in October 2024. According to EA’s financial reports, the latest Dragon Age game underperformed significantly compared to sales projections, which might explain why it’s being added to PS Plus so soon. Noteworthily, “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” will be the only PS Plus title for March that is exclusive to the PS5.

It’s not really unexpected that Sonic Colors: Ultimate and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection are joining PS Plus, considering they can be downloaded for both PS5 and PS4. Both games have received positive feedback, making March a promising month for PS Plus subscribers, as there will be plenty of content to keep them entertained.
