Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett are giving us the idea of Verity.
Actress from “The Idea of You” and actor known for “Pearl Harbor” were spotted in Queens, NY, shooting scenes for an upcoming adaptation based on a novel by Colleen Hoover. A sneak peek at their characters has been released, and it definitely lives up to expectations.
On February 27th during filming, Anne, who portrays Verity Crawford, a successful author struggling to complete her new book after a car accident, chose a semi-transparent white maxi dress with a drop-waist belt and a cutout at the neckline. To complement her outfit, she styled a short bob haircut and donned black sunglasses. The 42-year-old actress completed her look gracefully.
In regards to Josh, who portrays Verity’s husband Jeremy Crawford, the 46-year-old man was seen clutching a coffee cup and wearing dark gray jeans, a navy sweater, and a T-shirt with a copper hue peeking out. At another moment on set, the actor from Oppenheimer, sporting a stylish, shoulder-length haircut, emerged in a second outfit: a navy blue suit matched with brown dress shoes and a gray polo sweater.
Later in the day, the duo connected again too. In another snapshot, Anne and Josh were spotted capturing what seems to be Verity and Jeremy’s adorable meet-up moment, which appears to show them leaping into a limousine following a charity function.
Regarding Dakota Johnson, the actress who portrays Lowen Ashleigh in the movie, it’s worth noting that she was not present on the set during filming. The production is under the direction of Michael Showalter.
In other words, even though no official announcement has been made about her role, fans have already received some hints based on leaked plot details of the upcoming psychosexual thriller, although its release date is still unknown.
Upon reaching the grand Crawford mansion, the story’s opening line in the movie script, as mentioned by Variety, introduces Lowen to a mystery. He gradually uncovers a hidden, incomplete manuscript that could potentially reveal unsettling truths about the family’s past.
As Lowen becomes friends with Jeremy and his child Crew, she needs to figure out whether Verity’s writings are just sensational novels or a chilling message from a dangerously unstable mind.
To stay ahead and enjoy a variety of books that might later be adapted into fascinating films or series, continue to immerse yourself in reading.

With this talented group at the heart of the production, the prospect of watching it unfold on the big screen is truly enticing.
Based on: Rufi Thorpe’s 2024 novel
Starring: Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman
Premiere Dates: To be determined on Apple TV+
Why we’re looking forward to it: Isn’t it intriguing if a series isn’t captivating when Nicole Kidman is involved? Thorpe’s book, about the life of a woman who was once a Hooters waitress and pro-wrestler, turned to OnlyFans after becoming a single mom at 20, is already engaging.
