Will you accept this advice, Grant Ellis?
During the filming of the present 29th series of “The Bachelor”, the most recent male lead was given some valuable advice by his forerunner, Joey Graziadei.
In a special preview for the March 3 episode, the 31-year-old has an intimate chat over beers with the contestant from Season 28, who recently became engaged to Kelsey Anderson, as they share personal insights about the path he’s taken in life.
Grant confessed, “It’s taken an emotional toll on me.” He added, “I wasn’t aware I would develop such strong feelings.
Joey suggested that he should pause for a moment when he feels something strongly, as what he says in the coming weeks will carry significant weight.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of empathy when Grant confided in Joey about his fears. After all, the pursuit of love on television is something we both share, and now, it seems he’s grappling with the possibility that his fairy tale ending might not materialize as expected.
“I am a little bit nervous,” he emphasized, “because my greatest fear is that I end up alone.”
As a lifestyle expert, I must say, following my meaningful interactions with the families of our final four contestants – Dina Lupancu, Juliana Pasquarosa, Zoe McGrady, and Litia Garr – I’m now on the brink of making a decision that will shape my heart’s journey during the finale. Before I proceed with the critical task of handing out roses, Joey shared one last piece of advice.
Speaking from personal experience as a former Dancing With the Stars contestant, there’s certainly truth to that ‘inner voice.’ I paid close attention to this intuition during my entire time on the show.
In the finale of The Bachelor season 28, broadcast in 2024, the 29-year-old contestant ended up selecting and proposing to winner Kelsey Anderson. They remain a couple, with Kelsey recently expressing tributes to Joey for Valentine’s Day.
Kelsey posted on Instagram: “It’s hard to believe how much things have changed over the past year.” She reminisced about our unconventional meeting… sometimes we joke that it would have been nicer if we’d met at a bar. However, I wouldn’t want to alter any moment of our journey because each step has brought us to this amazing place, something far greater than I ever dared imagine…
She went on to say, “My affection for you runs deep and wide. I appreciate the way you make me feel treasured, and your constant, profound love for me. I’m grateful for your ability to chuckle at my jokes, even when they might not be particularly amusing. In your presence, each moment sparkles with enchantment.

This mindset has proven beneficial for him not just in the dating show, but also long after it. Over a year since Joey, aged 29, proposed to Kelsey on the season 28 finale, their relationship remains robust and thriving.
Speaking to TopMob News recently, Kelsey, aged 26, expressed her feelings: “Our relationship has never been stronger,” she said. “He is not only my partner but also my closest friend, and I can honestly say he’s the best person I know. I believe we have grown significantly just by getting to know each other better.
Despite being engaged for more than a year, Joey and Kelsey are only just starting their wedding preparations.
She expressed her eagerness about initiating the decision-making phase for destinations and timelines, and she’s ready to kick off this journey. Given that we have relatives scattered across various locations, we’re looking forward to discovering where our trip will take us. We haven’t finalized anything yet, but we’re in the midst of sorting it out.

After starring on the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelor” and leaving Gerry Turner’s season prematurely, Joan Vassos later became the leading lady on the first season of “The Golden Bachelorette”. It was during this journey that she encountered and became engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.
Joan expressed on the November 2024 finale of “The Golden Bachelorette” that their engagement serves as a testament to the fact that there’s always hope, regardless of age. “Life may throw challenges at us,” she said, “but love can still conquer all.” This heartfelt moment took place in Bora Bora, where Chock proposed. “I waited until this perfect moment in this breathtaking location to tell you that I love you,” he declared. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I look forward to waking up next to you every morning and sharing a goodnight kiss with you each night.

In the season finale of “The Bachelorette” (season 21), it seemed like former “Bachelor” contestant Jenn Tran had found her perfect match in her final choice, Devin Strader. However, during a post-finale interview back in September, Jenn, aged 26, disclosed that Devin, who is 28, abruptly turned cold towards her once the cameras stopped rolling.
During the September 3rd episode, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that he had been making grand declarations of affection one day, only to act as if he had never felt anything the next. She said that all the promises and love he had expressed towards her seemed to vanish.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but feel my heart race as Devin unfolds another chapter in this captivating tale. He poured his heart out on Instagram, sharing a riveting 13-minute video that offers his perspective on the situation. Beyond accepting responsibility, he also offered fascinating insights into the reasons behind his decision to terminate our relationship during a lengthy, impactful 15-minute phone conversation.
Instead of saying Jenn claimed he ended their relationship over the phone in August, it might be clearer to say that Jenn accused him of ending their relationship over the phone, while he asserted that Jenn insisted on knowing the reason during the call, as he was trying to find a suitable moment to break the news in person.
He admitted that he wasn’t sure what other option he had, adding that he had been planning to tell her face-to-face. Essentially, she made him take action.
After that, Jenn strolled towards “Dancing with the Stars” and perhaps into the affection of her dance partner, Sasha Farber, as speculations about their romantic involvement have persisted since their elimination on October 29th.

You have this contagious energy that makes me happy. It’s a sensation I’ve never experienced before.”
Dreaming about spending eternity with the woman from Louisiana, he added, “I had an idea for quite some time that I wanted to live a beautiful life, but I truly didn’t realize how breathtakingly beautiful that life could be until I encountered you.

Though underwater welder John Henry Spurlock (one of Charity Lawson’s suitors) and nurse Kat Izzo (who vied for Zach Shallcross’ heart) didn’t initially connect until halfway through season nine of “Bachelor in Paradise”, they decided to take a risk and dive headfirst into their relationship. “I’m going to attempt something a bit unconventional,” he said, presenting an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond ring. “Today I’m choosing to follow my heart. My heart tells me that you are extraordinary, you are everything I’ve been searching for.”
However, a few days after the season finale, the couple announced that they no longer saw a future together due to their career paths not being compatible. “Although our lives are taking different turns because our professional goals aren’t in sync,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post, “we are thankful for the love and encouragement we’ve received from our families, friends, and Bachelor Nation.
Despite her apprehensions about a romantic proposal, elegantly dressed Eliza Isichei (formerly linked to Clayton Echard), agreed to Aaron Bryant’s oceanfront proposal. Delighted by his thoughtful gesture of seeking her mother’s approval, she shared, “I couldn’t predict what words would escape me.”

Nurse Kylee Russell found herself disappointed that boyfriend Aven Jones refused to propose, a gesture he had supposedly been ready to make when courting Bachelorette Rachel Recchia. However, she eventually agreed to his Paradise proposal for the chance to make things work.
This decision meant her chosen engagement dress remained untouched, but as she put it, “I simply had to do what felt right.” She expressed that love is about taking chances.
Two days following their finale in December 2023, Kylee shared on her Instagram Stories that the relationship had broken down due to repeated infidelities. Aven later apologized for his actions, admitting he had made significant mistakes and hurt someone dear to him.
Charity Lawson playfully shared with TopMob News her joy about the unfolding events, which were later revealed to be her grand finale in August 2023. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, expressed his profound love for her by getting down on one knee and labeling it as “perfect.” He then asked Charity, a child and family therapist, to make their fairytale official by saying, “Will you accept my proposal to transform this storybook ending into a true reality?”
Although the couple is yet to decide on a specific wedding date, possibly in 2025 or 2026, Charity will first participate in the Dancing With the Stars competition. On The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, Dotun excitedly shared with Charity, “Baby, I know you love to dance and have fun. We’ve discussed this wonderful opportunity before, and I am thrilled to announce that you’ll be on Dancing With the Stars! Let’s do this!

Despite relocating from Nashville to Ohio to be together, they have parted ways. In an episode of Jason Tartick’s podcast, ‘Trading Secrets’, Michael confirmed the split. He lamented, “We invested a lot into this relationship and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t succeed. When you realize that love is there but compatibility is lacking, you grieve not only for the person and friendship lost, but also for the future that was once imagined.
Brandon Jones declared his affection for Serene Russell during season seven of ‘Paradise’, expressing his intention to love her forever until the end of time and beyond. However, their relationship didn’t last as long as they had hoped. Five months after their engagement aired, they announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram in May 2023. “Maintaining our relationship has been tough due to the public scrutiny,” they wrote. “We are going through a difficult and painful time, but we kindly ask for understanding and no negativity.

In an interview on The Viall Files, Tino admitted, “I in no way condone my actions. They were not right, they were unfair to Rachel, and I regret them deeply. It’s something I am ashamed of, and I wish I could go back and change it a million times over.
The situation: Divorced
Indeed, it was quite an experience. Susie Evans, during the 2022 finale, initially turned down Bachelor Clayton Echard‘s advances, but later reconnected with him off-camera…only to separate again six months later. However, Susie, a videographer based in L.A., asserts that their split was necessary. In a November 2022 post for her blog “Susie Was Like,” she expressed that the people around her noticed her sparkle fading and she was not flourishing. She admitted they shared many happy moments, but deep down, she was grappling with difficulties and felt disconnected from her true self.
After dating Justin Glaze, a contestant from Bachelor Nation, Susie later revealed that their relationship had ended in August 2024.
In a nutshell: Michelle, a Minnesota elementary school teacher, received a Neil Lane sparkler from Texas businessman Nayte Olukoya and a $200,000 check for their future home during their participation in a reality show. However, after six months since the season finale in December 2021, they announced their separation.
Nayte admitted on The Viall Files that there were many highs and lows, numerous disagreements, and frequent arguments, stating they didn’t see eye-to-eye often. He also acknowledged it was not ideal to have the breakup conversation remotely, calling it a “dick move.”
Later in 2023, Michelle began dating Jack Leius, and they announced their engagement the following year.
The viewers wholeheartedly supported the idea of a future with Sunday mornings sweetened by Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, as presented by them in BIP season seven. However, their time together was limited to just a few weekends. In a joint statement issued in January 2022, the pair’s coordinator, Maurissa (who dated Peter Weber), and attorney Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors) announced that they had chosen to part ways. Approximately three months after their reality show debuted, the pair publicly declared their separation. In the course of our interactions, I developed feelings for him that ultimately blossomed into love. Despite departing from the season as an engaged couple, it was later disclosed by the former Bachelorette and now co-host that our relationship encountered its fair share of highs and lows.
Being in a new relationship and then disappearing for a fortnight can be tricky, let’s face it. And I’m being straightforward about this,” she expressed on the August 2021 episode of The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast.
