Gypsy Rose Reveals Relieved to Give Birth to Baby Girl

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is thankful to be a girl mom.

The star of “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” who recently welcomed daughter Aurora Raina Urker with partner Ken Urker, expressed her relief that she had given birth to a baby girl instead of a boy.

Gypsy Rose expressed to People magazine on February 28th that she felt slightly more at ease with our baby being a girl. She explained that she wasn’t sure how to handle a little boy, as her personal tastes lean towards the feminine side. Being a woman who appreciates all things girly, from pink to ruffles, she feels comfortable in this area of expertise.

As a woman who spent eight long years behind bars, having been convicted for my part in the tragic 2015 demise of my mother, Dee Dee Blanchard – a role I now carry with profound regret – I can’t help but share that my yearning for a daughter is deeply rooted in the unique bond we shared.

Gypsy Rose mentioned, “In my view, although my relationship with my mom isn’t typical,” she said, “I feel incredibly fortunate to experience the unique bond between a mother and daughter, something I sadly missed out on with my own mother.

She mentioned, “It feels wonderful to slip into the role of a mother and understand what it entails.

Regarding her main worry during her initial phase of motherhood, it boils down to frequently venturing out with her baby in public.

The celebrity from New Orleans mentioned that they’ve had a couple of outings already. Since it has been quite chilly recently, they’ve been spending most of their time indoors. However, due to her young age, the star expressed some apprehension about being surrounded by people.

Back in the summer of ’24, I couldn’t help but share some thrilling news in a YouTube video – I’m overjoyed to be 11 weeks pregnant! This little bundle of joy came as an absolute surprise, something totally unplanned and utterly unexpected.

In August 2024, Gypsy and Ken joyfully celebrated a gender-reveal party for their first child. Later, during a baby shower in November, they delightfully announced that they would call their little one Aurora Raina Urker.

In collaboration with authors Melissa Moore and Michele Matrisciani, Gypsy recently published her compelling autobiography titled “My Time to Stand“, which hit the shelves in December.
