The Future Games Show Spring Exhibition is set to air on March 20th during the Game Developers Conference (GDC). We’re already excited about games like “System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster” getting updates, and now we can look forward to seeing “FBC: Firebreak” from Remedy Entertainment at the event as well.
On Bluesky, the developer hinted at some exciting news for fans without sharing specifics. This announcement might unveil a beta version or possibly a launch date. Keep an eye out for future developments!
This year, the game titled “Firebreak” will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5 platforms. It’s set to debut simultaneously on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscriptions. The story unfolds years after the events in “Control,” where players assume control of a special task force that ventures through The Oldest House to neutralize any potential threats. Although Firebreak is a cooperative game, it doesn’t follow the live-service model typically associated with ongoing updates and expansions, making it unique for Remedy Entertainment.
Besides being a moderately priced game, Remedy has also announced that the system requirements for its PC version will not be as demanding as those for “Alan Wake 2”. For further insights into the team’s concept for the game, follow this link.
