This week, the teamwork-based adventure game from Hazelight Studios, titled “Split Fiction“, will be released. In this game, players assume the roles of writers Mio and Zoe as they strive to break free from a virtual world. They’ll journey through fictional realms blending fantasy and science fiction, leaning on one another to surmount their creative obstacles.
As a dedicated gamer diving into this upcoming adventure, I’m bracing myself for a marathon-length quest spanning around 12 to 14 hours, with additional side content potentially extending that playtime even further. Notably, Director Josef Fares shared with MinnMax that the budget for this project is almost double that of their previous title, ‘It Takes Two‘. When humorously inquired about where all the extra cash had gone, Fares quipped, “Just take a look at the game, buddy. Are you kidding me? Just take a look!
Regardless, the reach of Split Fiction appears to be significantly broader, covering numerous situations ranging from turning into pigs to spacewalks, and a host of additional gameplay features. Additionally, it seems that its visual quality is also more advanced, necessitating greater computing power on PC (you can find the system requirements here).
On March 6th, the game “Split Fiction” will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. For all the essential information prior to your purchase, click here.
