The next installment of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles” anime adaptation sequel is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Europe and North America starting from 5th August, while Japanese players can enjoy it a few days earlier, from 1st August. Pre-orders for the game are available as of today.
A notable point is that there’s a Digital Deluxe Edition coming up, which grants early access to play from July 31st, regardless of your location. This edition costs $69.99 and comes with the following extra perks:

- Two Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys
- Kyojuro Rengoku, and Tengen Uzui
- Four Character Unlock Keys
- Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima
- VS Mode System Voice
- Upper Rank Demons Set: Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, Gyokko, and Zohakuten
- Three Battle Attire Costumes
- Tanjiro Kamado’s Kimono (Entertainment District), Inosuke Hashibira’s Kimono (Entertainment District), and Tengen Uzui’s Shinobi Attire
Those who place a pre-order for any edition of the game will receive unlock keys for the characters, Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, as an added bonus.
If you have saved game data on your system from any of the earlier Demon Slayer games, including “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles”, you’ll also receive bonuses.
