Streamer CarnyJared has accomplished an impressive feat by mastering DragonForce’s notoriously difficult track, “Through the Fire and Flames,” on Guitar Hero 3 at a challenging speed of 200%. This remarkable performance set a new world record that may stand for quite a while or perhaps even forever, given its extreme difficulty. The journey to this achievement was grueling indeed.
On February 27th, CarnyJared shared proof of his incredible display of what seems like masterful guitar skill (credit to IGN). After dedicating five months to practicing at double the normal speed and an additional nine months at an even faster rate, the streamer has earned everlasting recognition by successfully playing through all 3,722 notes in a speed that is hard to grasp.
In their standard length, DragonForce’s exceptional live instrumental performance exceeds seven minutes. However, YouTuber CarnyJared manages to complete this challenging piece in less than four minutes on what seems like an unsuitable medium for such intensity. Remarkably, after countless attempts, CarnyJared successfully navigated Through the Fire and Flame’s complex solo without a single mistake – achieving this feat only the fourth time in history.
