Macaulay Culkin’s Emotional Reaction to Kieran Culkin’s Oscar Win

Kieran Culkin isn’t celebrating alone.

On the big day of the Oscars in March, the star who won the Best Supporting Actor award (Kieran) and brought home the trophy was enthusiastically supported by his brother Macaulay Culkin. Macaulay couldn’t hide his emotional response to Kieran‘s triumph.

Macaulay shared that he had been moved to tears, speaking with Tan France at the Vanity Fair afterparty on March 2. He mentioned that Kieran Culkin, a notable actor who has won an Academy Award, was the person in question.

The star of the movie “Home Alone”, who was accompanied by his fiancée Brenda Song, messaged his brother straight away following the victory: “I said, ‘I’ll be seeing you soon.’

Moreover, not only did Macaulay’s emotional response underscore their bond, but he openly admitted that Kieran was the one who had all of his focus during the awards ceremony.

Macaulay remarked, “I watched just the ‘Best Supporting Actor.’ That’s a fact, a genuine fact.” (Or)

Macaulay stated, “The only film I caught was ‘Best Supporting Actor.’ It’s true, absolutely true.” (Or)

Macaulay said, “All I saw was the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ category. True tale, completely accurate.

The 44-year-old had no question about watching the show, and he was equally certain that his brother would win an Oscar.

He was right at the very first row, nearest to the staircase, as he described. There was simply no chance of anyone else beating him.

Apart from Macaulay, it wasn’t only Brenda who was rooting for Kieran’s win. In fact, she, who is the mother of their sons Dakota (3) and Carson (2), was equally confident in his success, expressing her belief by saying, “Let’s be honest, we can say that.

Even on Hollywood’s grandest evening, Brenda didn’t hesitate to cheer for Kieran. In fact, this wasn’t the initial instance where she expressed her backing for him publicly.

She expressed that he is an exceptionally talented actor on TopMob News, February 13th. She couldn’t help but feel pride and happiness for his success.

Additionally, it was mentioned that even though Kieran, who had previously taken home the Golden Globe, SAG Award, Critics Choice Award, and BAFTA Film Award before the Oscars (each being a significant accolade), frequently employs sarcasm during his acceptance speeches, he still takes pleasure in the accomplishments of his work.

As I enthusiastically shared, every single one of his accolades is proudly on display – but let me clarify, it’s all done with a wink and a smile. You see, he possesses an extraordinary sense of humor that leans towards the self-effacing kind, which makes it even more captivating. It’s simply delightful!

She commented, ‘Ultimately, it’s a profession. It’s amazing that we have the opportunity to do this, and that’s why his approach is so unique – truly brilliant.’
