Lala Kent and Randall Emmett Finally End Custody Battle After 3 Long Years!

Lala Kent is celebrating a major milestone.

Previously on “Vanderpump Rules,” the former cast member disclosed that she and her ex-fiance, Randall Emmett, have finally settled their long-standing custody dispute concerning their 3-year-old daughter, named Ocean.

Lala announced on her Amazon Live stream on March 4 that the custody dispute has been resolved. She said, ‘It’s all finished.’ That’s today’s piece of news.

In the course of the live broadcast, I didn’t receive specifics about the agreement, but I did mention that it ultimately benefited our shared child.

Three years later, we’ve finally reached a deal that suits our daughter, Ocean, incredibly well. And I am extremely pleased about this development.

After what appeared to be the resolution of their legal issues, which ended their engagement back in 2021 when Ocean was just 7 months old, Lala emphasized that this settlement reflected an improvement in her shared parenting experience with the movie producer.

For such a prolonged period, this matter has been a burden on both my heart and spirit. I believe it’s had an impact on my ex as well. Yet, I am overjoyed that we managed to reach a positive state for the sake of our child’s welfare.

The contract signified a favorable shift for both parties following Lala, who is also mother to a six-month-old child named Sosa conceived through a sperm donor, describing her legal struggle as a “nightmare” in January 2024.

She shared with Page Six that his side was incredibly disorganized, and she didn’t foresee a resolution arising any time in the near future.

But within a few months, it seemed things were slowly getting better between Lala and Randall.

During her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen in November, she stated, “We share a connection regarding this child and her welfare, and we engage in fruitful discussions about it.

5 years ago today, Lala shared on social media in October 2023, “I’ve been living a sober life today.” She reflected on the low point that led her to this journey. She recounted the events of that day – waking up, acknowledging her powerlessness, and for the first time in years, seeing hope again. She expressed deep gratitude for this moment.

She continued, “I’ll keep putting in effort for my abstinence and observe a moment of quiet reflection for those struggling with alcohol addiction.” She then expressed, “I see you, I care for you. Gratitude to the heavens. Celebrating another year of life!

In a post on her podcast, Give Them Lala, the host shared that they learned Aloha represents more than just a greeting; it’s a lifestyle during their December 2023 vacation. They expressed their appreciation for being able to experience the island’s beauty and how it rejuvenated them, leaving them incredibly grateful.

Lala posted about Ocean going to Newport in Summer 2023, “A mini carousel by the sea,” she said. “Watching O perform where I once did at her age filled my heart with joy. It seems Ocean is carrying on the tradition of making Poppy proud, just like a true beach lover.
