During the early 2000s, the celebrity reminisced about her initial marriage to the music producer and its subsequent dissolution. She shared that it was her sister, Khloe Kardashian, who had sacrificed her entire life savings back then, enabling her to secure a place to live independently.
In the March 6th episode of “The Kardashians,” Kim reminisced, “She gave me a piggy bank that was our height, similar to a Coke bottle, where we’d store money. When I was going through my first divorce at age 21, she offered it to me, saying, ‘Here, take my savings container.’
44-year-old Kim Kardashian West, known for her business ventures like SKIMS, revealed that she and Khloe Kardashian spent an entire night meticulously sorting through stacks of money, totaling approximately $6,000.
Kim explained, “I managed to gather just enough to cover the down payment for my apartment and also pay for the first and last month’s rent.
After around four years of marriage with Damon, Kim divorced him in 2004. Later in 2011, she married Kris for just 72 days before filing for divorce. In 2014, Kim wed Kanye West, and together they have children North (aged 11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). However, their relationship ended in 2021, with the divorce being finalized the following year.
And for Khloe, she didn’t think twice about her selfless act.
In her memory of Kim on “The Kardashians,” she said she was weeping in her room. She then recounted thinking, “I have this soda bottle. Why not empty it, take the cash from the bank using its contents, and use that money to help with your divorce.
Khloe emphasized that she had given everything she could to help Kim, which hopefully made a difference for her in the future.
Indeed, he did. Years following the kind act, Kim returned Khloe’s favor by presenting her with the identical piggy bank overflowing with cash on her birthday.
