Game developer Big Bad Wolf Studio, in partnership with Publisher Nacon, has revealed the upcoming adventure game titled “Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss.” Set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, the game is slated for a launch in the year 2026.

Studio Big Bad Wolf, renowned for creating captivating narrative games like “The Council” and “Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong,” introduces “Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss,” an exhilarating investigative journey set in the chilling universe of H.P. Lovecraft. This first-person psychological thriller casts players as Noah, a member of Ancile, a clandestine Interpol division focusing on supernatural cases. As he probes into the enigma of missing miners at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, his trail will eventually lead to R’lyeh, an antique submerged city housing Cthulhu in captivity. With AI companion Key by his side, Noah must untangle intricate puzzles, make decisions that impact his destiny, and withstand the mind-warping influence of Cthulhu.
