Christina Haack has made her new relationship TV official.
As a lifestyle expert, I must share an exciting update from my personal life: On the March 5 finale of “The Flip Off,” my boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, made a special appearance. In this show, I’m one of the stars, sharing the screen with my ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.
Christina’s partner joined the group of friends and relatives for a short while, which included her and Tarek’s children Taylor El Moussa (14) and Brayden El Moussa (9), at their house in Newport Beach, California. As guest judge Jeff Lewis declared the winner, it was disclosed that the team with the highest return on investment after renovating a home was Christina and Tarek’s team.
Christina, who recently started dating a telecommunications executive towards the end of last year, used to appear in scenes for “The Flip Off” alongside two previous partners. However, her plans with third husband Josh Hall to act together on the show opposite Tarek and Heather fell through after they began filming the series. Unfortunately, their separation in 2024 led to Josh’s departure from the project, resulting in a limited appearance on the show.
In addition to her, her second former spouse, Ant Anstead, who is the father of their five-year-old son Hudson London Anstead, participated in The Flip off as well, following Josh’s departure, when he made a special appearance as a judge during the February 19 episode.
Last summer, Christina’s third marriage concluded, and this was highlighted on the HGTV show. During the first episode of the season, she opened up about the reasons for its breakdown in a discussion with Tarek. She confided in him that her children had asked her to depart, expressing that he wasn’t kind to her.
She then broke down in tears while reflecting on undergoing three divorces in less than a decade.
Christina shared with Tarek that she’s been feeling swept up in a whirlwind of chaos, unable to escape, ever since around 2016. She explained that life has been incredibly difficult and painful for her during this period, leaving a deep emotional scar.
During the final episode of Flip Off, the remnants of her breakup with Josh still hung heavy as she confessed to Jeff that she regretted selecting the house for the competition, explaining that it was Josh who had discovered the property and was meant to carry out most of the work on it. Jeff, the host of Jeff Lewis Live, commented that they seemed to be “out of sync.
It seems quite clear that you are an extremely appealing and accomplished woman. I imagine you will have many dating opportunities. In a playful manner, he asked, “I guess we’ll have to marry them all, don’t we?
Christina responded, “No, no. No more marriages.”
Look back at Christina and Tarek’s family tree…
Christina and Tarek welcomed their first child together on Sept. 22, 2010.
After their divorce, they both took on the role of shared parents for their daughter. Christina once referred to her as an “old soul” who could discuss profound topics about life one moment and then switch back to acting like a typical child the next.
She remarked about Taylor, “She has an exceptional talent for engaging anyone, in any setting. She’s lively, intelligent, sporty, cheerful, and never fails to surprise us.
Christina and Tarek welcomed their second child together on Aug. 20, 2015.
Apart from their eldest child Taylor, they’ve both been involved in raising Brayden since their divorce. Previously, Tarek has referred to their son as a bundle of energy and a boy with the kindest soul and the most generous heart.
Tarek expressed, “There isn’t any expression that could fully convey the light he brings to my day, but I feel incredibly fortunate each day to be his and Tay’s father. Raising him and watching him grow fills me with an unparalleled joy, making me the happiest dad on earth.
Approximately one year following her separation with Tarek, Christina began dating Ant, a popular British television host, in October of 2017. They made their relationship official in January 2018 – coincidentally the same month that Christina’s divorce from Tarek was finalized. The couple then exchanged vows at their Newport Beach, California residence in a winter-themed wedding on December 22, 2018.
Christina and Ant, who is the father of Amelie and Archie with his ex-wife Louise Storey, became parents to their first child together, a son named Hudson, in the year 2019.
In just under two years of marriage, the pair decided to part ways in September 2020. Nine months after that, they officially ended their union with a divorce.
Since the split, Ant has moved on with actress Renée Zellweger.
On September 6, 2019, Christina and Ant became proud parents to their newborn son. Upon arrival, the baby boy tipped the scales at 7 lbs 7 oz and stretched out to a length of 19.5 inches.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: Following the finalization of our divorce in June 2021, we had agreed on joint legal and physical custody of our son, Hudson. However, I found myself seeking full custody in April 2022, citing court documents that suggest my ex-partner spends approximately nine full days a month with Hudson.
In the month of December that followed, the former partners came to a consensus where they would both retain shared legal and physical custody of Hudson, as stated in records acquired by TopMob News.
On the Fourth of July in 2019, Tarek encountered a star from the series ‘Selling Sunset’, at a marina in Newport Beach, California. Their boats were parked next to each other, and they happened to be celebrating together. Towards the end of that month, pictures emerged showing them kissing on a yacht. In August, Tarek announced to TopMob News that he was dating Heather Rae, stating, “I never thought I’d say this again, but this stunning woman, Heather Rae, is my girlfriend, officially.
In July 2020, the couple got engaged, and they officially tied the knot on October 23, 2021, in a heartfelt outdoor wedding ceremony situated close to Santa Barbara, California, as they exchanged their heartfelt vows.
Heather frequently describes herself as Tarek’s “extra mother” to Taylor and Brayden. In an interview with TopMob News, she stated, “I feel like I have two more children of my own.” She continues to care for Tarek’s offspring, spending half the time with them. She proudly acknowledges her role as a wonderful bonus mom and expresses deep affection for these kids, treating them as if they were her own.
On January 31, 2023, I was fortunate to welcome a new addition to our family – a healthy baby boy, tipping the scales at 7 pounds and 7 ounces.
According to Heather, it was intended that he should be called Tristan, but instead, he was given the name Tarek by his parents.
His middle name is a nod to Heather’s dad.
In the year 2021, following her separation from her second spouse named Ant, Christina started seeing Josh. They made their relationship known to the public in July of the same year. Christina shared that they had been together for several continuous months prior to this revelation.
As stated by the star of the show “Flip or Flop”, she encountered Josh, a real estate professional, during that particular spring season, when she was not in a state of panic or survival instincts. She had taken a break from social media, hired a spiritual guide, and used a Bufo toad for smoking purposes as part of her process to rejuvenate her mind.
Christina and Josh got engaged that September and tied the knot on Oct. 6, 2021.
The specific date of their wedding remained unknown to many until Josh submitted divorce papers on July 15, 2024, stating that irreconcilable differences were the cause of their separation.
On the July 11, 2024 episode of Christina on the Coast, it was revealed that until then, she had generally been secretive about her past, only occasionally giving peeks into her parents’ roles as grandparents.
In the year 2019, she posted on Instagram expressing that both our families gather together to enjoy Taylor’s performances at her school’s traditional Christmas concert.
She noted that several individuals appreciated how wonderful this was, mentioning that many divorced couples (even Tarek’s parents among them) also do this, and it genuinely makes things simpler for everyone. Moreover, Taylor’s face brightens when she witnesses us all seated together in the same row, cheering her on.
While Josh’s relationship with Christina catapulted him into public attention, his sisters had already achieved fame during the 2000s.
Stacie, affectionately known by some as “Stacie the Bartender”, was well-known for being the focus of Spencer Pratt’s advances during the show, “The Hills”. She also made an appearance on “Vanderpump Rules”, particularly in season three where she was one of Scheana Shay’s bridesmaids.
Regarding Jessica, she’s not only a former Playboy model but also starred on various shows like The Hills, The Girls Next Door, Kendra, Kendra on Top, and Kendra Sells Hollywood. These roles were primarily in support of her close friend, Kendra Wilkinson.
Angelique, the elder sister of Tarek, runs Latitude 33 Hair Artistry in Anaheim, California. In 2014, she acquired one of the flipped houses owned by Tarek and Christina, which was featured on an episode of “Flip or Flop”. Additionally, she collaborated with her HGTV co-host brother for a digital series in 2019.
Tarek El Moussa’s mom, Dominique, is no longer with his father – a man whose identity Tarek hasn’t revealed in public. At this moment, she’s married to Robert, who affectionately refers to Tarek’s mother as “the love of my life” on Instagram.
Tarek made it clear that he doesn’t use the same surname as his father, but in a Facebook post dated November 2017, he acknowledged that his “father figure” had reached the age of 70.
The bond between a parent, particularly a father, and his kids is truly significant. I consider myself fortunate to have had a nurturing and inspiring father who instilled in me the confidence that I could achieve great things in life. This thought was expressed alongside a photo showcasing our family’s birthday festivities for the dear old man. In truth, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my dad’s unwavering support. I vow to carry forward all the wisdom he imparted and share it with my own kids.
In an interview with Country Living, Tarek shared that his father was born Catholic and grew up in Lebanon and later Egypt in the Middle East. When he was a teenager, he encountered Tarek’s mother, who hails from Belgium, in Europe.
