At the recent Nacon Connect event, I was thrilled to learn about an independent expansion for “RoboCop: Rogue City” titled “Unfinished Business.” Set to release in Q3 2025, this new adventure finds me, as RoboCop, heading into OmniTower to handle some troublemakers who’ve moved in illegally.
Although Murphy is well-equipped for typical street thugs, OmniTower’s adversaries are no walkovers. Some sport heavy armor and miniguns, while others have jet packs and katanas. You’ll also need to take out turrets, drones, and self-destructing robots. And guess who’s back for another performance? The ED-209!
Luckily, Murphy now has fresh resources at his disposal, such as the Cryo Cannon. In addition to OmniTower, the game Unfinished Business offers missions where you’ll command Murphy before his metamorphosis. This part of the storyline is distinct because Murphy is more susceptible. However, it should add depth to the character, particularly with actor Peter Weller reprising his role.
The upcoming title, “RoboCop: Rogue City – Unresolved Matters,” is set to launch on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Keep an eye out for further announcements regarding this release. In the interim, feel free to read our review of the original game.
