In the world of Power, things keep moving forward. Although the original series and its initial spin-off, Book II: Ghost, have concluded, there are currently two active shows and another one being developed.
Among the current series, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” has gained significant recognition, as it’s currently in its fourth season, and a fifth season has been officially announced.
Back in March 2024, when the series “Raising Kanan” was renewed for its fifth season, Kathryn Busby, president of original programming at STARZ, expressed in a statement: “Given the intense interest our audience has shown towards ‘Raising Kanan’, we felt compelled to continue this story. As we watch this character transform into a violent individual, we have more untold stories about his past that we’re eager to reveal, deepening the family drama even further.
Moving ahead with enlarging the narrative set in the Power universe, we’re excited about exploring potential encounters between these stories and other Power characters from this prequel period.
In the new phase, Kanan, Raq, and the entire Thomas clan are attempting to begin anew; however, it doesn’t take long for Unique to resurface with a violent comeback, causing further chaos in their already turbulent existence.

In the United States, the fourth season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan premiered on Friday, March 7th, 2025, exclusively on STARZ. Two days later, on Sunday, March 9th, it will make its debut in the UK on MGM+. In both regions, viewers can look forward to a weekly release schedule for this popular series.
Episode 2 is scheduled to debut in the U.S. on Friday, 14th March 2025 and in the U.K. a couple of days later, specifically on Friday, 16th March 2025.
