The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Final Season: Premiere Date and What to Expect!

It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Cousins house.

As an over-the-moon fan of “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” I’ve been eagerly awaiting news about its continuation, and now, finally, after more than a year since Prime Video confirmed the series would return for a heartwarming finale at the beach, they’ve unveiled the sun-drenched premiere date!

According to recent news from Prime Video, the television series adaptation of Jenny Han’s “Summer” book trilogy, titled “Summer,” will consist of eleven episodes and air in July, contrary to the original plan that it would conclude with ten episodes in July 2023.

As a dedicated follower, I’m thrilled to share that Amazon Prime has unveiled the teaser art for the final season, featuring Lola Tung in a captivating pose amidst a field of flowers, donning a yellow dress. The series centers around my character, Isabel “Belly” Conklin, who finds herself entangled in a heart-wrenching love triangle during her summer getaway at a beach house shared by brothers Conrad (portrayed by Christopher Briney from ‘Mean Girls’) and Jeremiah Fisher (portrayed by Gavin Casalegno).

Suitably, the final season of the series was developed by well-known figures from the Summer realm. Once more, Jenny, aged 44, takes the helm for the show, and writers Sarah Kucserka and Karen Rosenfelt – who worked on the project during Season 2 in 2022 – are coming back as showrunners and executive producers. Additionally, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen will be part of the Writing, Illustrating, and Producing team for this season.

Though the network hasn’t disclosed which stars will return for their roles, they’ve been cryptic about where the storyline is heading this season. They provided little insight even when the show was renewed for a third season in 2023, leaving actors like Christopher uncertain about the series’ plot development.

In a conversation with TopMob News in January, the 25-year-old admitted, “I’m completely clueless,” and went on to explain that Jenny tends to keep information about the characters under wraps.

As Christopher noted, “They don’t tell me anything.”

Self-love is a formidable kind of affection, as even the main character from ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ can attest! Though Lola finds herself unattached, her experiences portraying Belly have taught her valuable lessons about love and life.

She shared with Seventeen magazine that she’s learned to be a bit kinder to herself, as she believes teenage girls can be overly critical of themselves. She pointed out that her character on the show is going through a lot and making mistakes, which is natural, and it’s part of learning and growing up.

She mentioned, “I’ve made an effort to lessen some stress, stay mindful, and appreciate moments as they unfold naturally.

Who is Conrad’s real-life sun? Isabel Machado

In 2021, Christopher and the multi-talented individual (actress and singer) started dating following their graduation from Pace University. To celebrate their first anniversary of shared feelings last May, Isabel posted a picture of them sharing a sweet kiss by a lake with the caption, “Happy to be able to kiss you now.

On the day of their first anniversary, Christopher marked the special occasion by posting a touching tribute on social media. He wrote, “A year already?!” accompanied by pictures and videos of them together. “I couldn’t ask for anything more,” he added.

Gavin, who portrays Conrad’s younger brother Jeremiah, previously dated model Larsen Thompson. However, as reported by J-14, their relationship ended last summer. Since then, they haven’t appeared on each other’s Instagram posts. In September 2021, Larsen celebrated Gavin’s 22nd birthday with a heartfelt tribute saying, “Six years isn’t long enough… You make my world shine!

The actor from The Flight Attendant (who is known as Cam on TSITP) has decided to keep his romantic life away from social media following a brief experiment with online dating. He joked about his Tinder bio, saying something like “Wait, this isn’t cool math games?”, which he found amusing. He admits that he is not fond of dating apps as they make him feel uneasy.

Prior to Rachel’s marriage to acclaimed composer Jeremy Turner, there was an unusual online rumor circulating that misrepresented her as being secretly wed with two kids, which turned out to be untrue.

As reported by the actress from “Clueless” (the TV series), who portrays Susannah, the mother of Conrad and Jeremiah, a false rumor spread so widely that it led to her losing a job. She expressed her frustration to ABC News in 2014, saying, “I believe I have an online stalker who initiated this rumor and won’t remove it. It keeps getting taken down only for him to re-post it. It’s quite irritating.

Sean has been fairly private about his romantic life, but his bond with his fellow actors remains robust. Speaking to Seventeen, he expressed deep affection for Christopher and Gavin, stating, “I adore these two immensely—they have grown to be among my dearest friends during the past year, and I am incredibly grateful for that.

He went on to say, “There’s a lot that unites us. The three of us are quite eccentric. I really enjoy their company, and when Gavin is in New York, we always find time to spend together.

Besides being recognized for her performances in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Station 19’, Jackie is married to Louis Ozawa, a star from ‘Hunters’. Together, they are parents to two children. Interestingly, they often refer to their dog Atticus as their first-born.

In a similar vein, although Minnie hasn’t spoken much about romantic relationships, the actress who portrays Shayla has formed an exceptional bond with her fellow cast members. Previously, she’s referred to David as her ‘accomplice’ and Sean as her ‘dearest friend.’

Despite being absent in Susannah’s life, it is known that Tom has spent numerous summers with Jenni Gallagher, as they have been married since 1997. They are a pair who share two children together.

I’ve been absolutely living for every moment of this year as an ardent fan, and let me tell you, my girl has had quite a Hot Girl Summer! She graced our screens in no less than three TV series and the hilarious dramedy titled “Emergency” in 2022. However, it seems like my beloved Nicole, played by Summer on the show, isn’t romantically involved with anyone at present.

Colin, who plays Belly and Steven’s dad John, shares a son with Lindsay Thompson.

Despite being quite active on social media, the actress who portrays Taylor, Belly’s best friend, has been secretive about her romantic affairs. Instead, she utilizes her Instagram account primarily to post photos of her friends, including her co-stars.
