In the expansive territory of Stalker 2 known as Zaton, there’s a treasure trove waiting for adventurers like me. Hidden gems are scattered throughout this vast landscape, but the catch is that they require extensive exploration to find. At times, these caches can be elusive due to their clever concealment, making it necessary to keep my eyes peeled during my journey through this captivating world.

For your convenience, we’ve put together a comprehensive guide pointing out the locations of every hidden cache in Zaton. While most of these caches hold standard survival gear, some may surprise you with extra supplies.

Every Stash To Find In Zaton

In various secret nooks and crannies throughout the map, Zaton has concealed his caches. These are the locations where you might uncover some of these hidden treasures in this particular region.

Izumrudne Broken Stage Stash

In Izumrudne, there’s a dilapidated stage situated in the east. Venture behind this stage and ascend its rooftop where you’ll discover a gap; jump through it. Inside, you’ll notice a blue cache tucked away in the room’s corner.

Railway Maintenance Facility Stash

At the Rail Yard Maintenance Center, there are six towers accessible via ladders. Utilize the cement platforms to ascend the catwalk and leap between them to reach the easternmost platform. Scale the central water tower to discover the hidden cache. Additionally, you’ll find two grenades nearby the stash.

Railway Maintenance Locked Tower

On the southwest corner of the Railway Maintenance Facility, there’s a compact observation tower with a secured keypad. The access code is located once you ascend this mentioned tower.

To gain entry, please input the code on the keypad. Once completed, the door will open, granting you access to a concealed cache containing the PSZ-5I Hawk armor, along with numerous ammunition boxes.

Broken Train Bridge Stash

Head towards the southwest section of the Railway Maintenance Facility until you come across a damaged or collapsed bridge. There, you’ll encounter an NPC called Darwin. Feel free to chat with him, or continue on your way towards the stash if you prefer.

You can locate the hidden treasure atop the bridge construction. Begin your ascent from the left side of the bridge, then leap across the train to get to the right side. Keep ascending until you reach the top, and once there, head towards the end of the structure to discover the hidden loot.

Darwin is requesting that you give him your supply. Should you decide to share it, he won’t react in any way. However, if you decline, he may become aggressive and attempt to harm you.

Opachychi Stash

In Opachychi, numerous dilapidated and waterlogged homes can be seen. Head towards the westernmost property in the vicinity, then ascend its roof by stacking crates. Once at the peak, leap to the adjacent section of the damaged structure to uncover a stash containing both the Viper-5 SMG and ammo reinforcements.

Canning Factory Small Warehouse Stash

At the Canning Factory, there are two hidden spots. The initial one is located in the smaller storage area. Once you get inside it, navigate towards the rear part of the warehouse. You can maneuver through the shelves stacked against the wall to reach the back.

At the conclusion of your journey, you’ll discover a hidden cache located high up on the uppermost shelf. This cache holds the design plans for a Protective Coating specifically designed for the SEVA-V Suit armor, which is colored blue.

Canning Factory Large Warehouse Stash

In the spacious warehouse filled with peculiar areas, aim to neutralize them by firing bolts. Towards the rear of the warehouse, there’s a metal stairway that leads you up to the catwalk. Continue navigating through the peculiar zones, and eventually, you’ll discover a cache containing an M10 Gorgon SMG and an Optician Gas Mask.

Stash Near Gas Station

To your left, or the northwest side of the Gas Station, you’ll spot two trucks shielded by unusual electric fields. Scale these vehicles and leap onto the rooftop of the nearby single-story structure. That’s where you’ll discover a cache containing an anti-radiation medication and a Medkit.

Claw Stash

In the chilly north of Zaton, not far from the Gas Station, lies a place known as Claw. Two caves, easily spotted, stand there. You’re after the one that seems to reach towards the sky. Scramble up the jagged rock formations and leap into the air for a swift jump – that’s the entrance you want. Inside, you’ll stumble upon a hidden treasure trove, or “stash,” and come across a Fora-221 Assault Rifle, along with some backup ammo to keep it loaded.

Abandoned Cars Stash

To your southwest lies a gas station. Beyond it, there’s a steep drop where some old, abandoned vehicles are located. Descend from this point and you’ll discover a car parked close to the edge of the cliff. At the rear end of this car, you’ll stumble upon another hidden cache containing bottles of vodka.

Hydrodynamics Lab Stash

Heading towards the east from Zaton, you’ll come across a vast expanse known as the Hydrodynamics Lab. Within this lab, there stands a long, pristine white building. Utilize the concrete slabs on the northern side of the structure to ascend to its rooftop. Once on the roof, navigate through the pipes and you’ll discover your hidden treasure at the far end.

If you want the next stash, climb down and find an entry point into the interior of the building.

Upon entering, you’ll encounter some zombies. Eliminate each one and search their remains. One of them will be wearing a collar with a code needed to unlock the next hidden cache.

The zombies are hard to fight, so make sure you’re stocked with healing items.

Should you prefer, you don’t need to slay the zombies, since the password remains consistent for everyone in this case. For your convenience, we’ve already given you the password for the next cache.

Hydrodynamics Lab Locked Stash

In the southwestern sector of the Hydrodynamics Lab, there stands a substantial structure equipped with a towering smokestack. To gain access, you’ll need to key in the code 4824 on the keypad.

Upon entering, you’ll spot a metal storage box located centrally within the structure. Inside this box, you’ll discover an accessory – a GP-25 grenade launcher attachment – designed to be fitted onto an AKM-74S rifle.

Hydrodynamics Lab Sewers Stash

In the eastern sector of the Hydrodynamics Lab, there’s an access point to the sewer system. Go inside and travel along the left side of the pipes until you come across a deceased scientist. To your left, you’ll discover a hidden cache nestled beside the skeleton.

After you’ve entered, the route becomes difficult to see. Remember to turn on your torch for a smoother journey ahead.

Lviv Stash

Just beyond Hydrodynamics Lab, in the southern region, there’s a dock named Lviv. Near it, a large vessel will be moored. The item you seek is on this ship. To locate it, walk to the end of the pier and enter the ship through the red metal storage container. Then, move towards the opposite side of the ship by scaling the walls. Continue straight until you come across the stairs that lead up to the control center.

This way, the instructions are more descriptive and easier to follow. The original text can be a bit confusing for some readers as it uses technical terms like “south of” and “ascend the stairs to reach”.

Clear the obstructions such as barricades and crates that are obstructing your path to reach the control center. Once you’ve managed to get inside, you will discover a cache containing the Marauder Suit armor and some rejuvenating supplies.

Ranger Station Stash

In the eastern region of the Ranger Station, there are some storage units. One of them has an open door; locate that specific unit. To reach it, ascend the nearby containers. Inside, you’ll discover the PSZ-5D Universal Protection armor and a cache.

Beware, as you’ll be hunted by an electronic anomaly, so keep some bolts and healing items in hand.

Repair Quay Stash

In the southern region of Zaton, you’ll come across Repair Quay. To reach a large crane there, head towards the northern part of the location. Ascend the ladder and address the issues with bolts. Once you’ve fixed them, proceed upward and veer to the left. Turn right immediately after that to discover the stash.

Port Crane Stash

To locate the Port Crane, head south from Repair Quay. Keep moving until you come across it. The stash can be found inside a large building with broken windows and wide-open doors; however, be prepared to confront some enemies before reaching it.

Once you’re done, go up the stairs right away, and you’ll promptly discover the hideout. Inside this hideout, you’ll come across a blueprint for a ‘VS Vintar Return Mechanism Sleeve Tightener’.

After completing that task, head upstairs to locate the secret stash. In this hidden cache, you will find the design plan for a ‘Return Mechanism Sleeve Tightener’ in VS Vintar’s blueprint.
