Dietrich Bonhoeffer, less famed than Oskar Schindler, nevertheless has a captivating tale to tell, much like the one portrayed in the recently released movie ‘Bonhoeffer’, scripted and helmed by Todd Komarnicki.

The movie explores the time period when the world stands perilously close to destruction, during which Dietrich Bonhoeffer becomes involved in a lethal plan to kill Hitler. This daring move puts both his religious beliefs and personal destiny at stake as he attempts to prevent the mass slaughter of millions of Jews.

Previously, Todd Komarnicki has written true-life stories such as ‘Sully’ for Clint Eastwood, films featuring Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis, and produced the beloved Christmas movie ‘Elf’. In our conversation, we discussed his work, including the production of ‘Bonhoeffer’, and at its London premiere, we had the opportunity to interact with him alongside the producers, cast, and crew to delve deeper into the film.
