Death Stranding Strands of Harmony Concert Tour Announced, Starts on November 8 in Sydney

At the SXSW 2025 panel, Hideo Kojima, director of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, along with Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, and Woodkid, unveiled a series of orchestral concerts titled the “Death Stranding Strands of Harmony Tour.” The tour will focus on the music from Death Stranding, composed by Ludvig Forssell and Low Roar.

Kojima expressed his joy that the music from ‘Death Stranding’ has touched fans globally, resulting in a world tour for the game. In his opinion, 80% of what stirs people emotionally comes from music. The music in ‘Death Stranding’ significantly influences the game’s atmosphere and tugs at players’ feelings.

I wish these tunes, be it those that resonate during quiet moments or those that conjure up grand movie scenes, may find their way into your heart.

Starting from March 12th, you can get your hands on tickets for the “Death Stranding” Strands of Harmony concert tour. The inaugural performance is set for November 8th in Sydney. The last leg of this tour will bring it to Canada, with shows in Montreal on March 26th, 2026, and Toronto on March 28th, 2026. For a full list of cities and dates, check out the schedule below.

Forsell expressed his pride and excitement about being involved in bringing the diverse music of “Death Stranding” to a live audience. The game’s soundtrack ranges from soft ballads, to synthwave, and even grandiose orchestral anthems, and he looks forward to sharing this unique musical journey through arrangements that will amplify each piece when performed by a full orchestra.

Additionally, I’m looking forward to the possibility of experiencing the storyline and musical progression together, just like Sam Porter Bridges, as we transition from the original to the follow-up.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the same event unveiled a fresh trailer for “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.” This exciting reveal also announced its release on PS5, set for June 26th. The intriguing trailer offered a glimpse into the storyline, introducing a new character portrayed by Luca Marinelli, while reintroducing familiar faces like Fragile, Lou, and our protagonist Sam Porter.

Information on the different versions of the game was also shared. The regular version of the game costs $69.99, while there will also be a Digital Deluxe Version available for $79.99 and a Collector’s Edition priced at $229.99.

Starting March 17, all versions of the game can be pre-ordered to receive pre-order benefits. However, the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s editions will offer extra perks, such as early access to “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” for a 48-hour head start before its official launch.

Continuing with his usual secretive style, Kojima has been tight-lipped about details for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. However, a recent update to the game’s PlayStation Store listing did reveal that it will incorporate a multiplayer system similar to the one found in the original Death Stranding, just like before.
