Sony has revealed a fresh package deal for the PS5, featuring “Astro Bot” as part of the bundle. On social media platform X, the company shared that starting this week, new PS5 buyers can select this particular bundle. The “Astro Bot” PS5 package will be accessible worldwide.
The PlayStation X team, along with Astro and his spaceship, shared the news: “Introducing the PS5 console bundle featuring Astro Bot! This package includes the console and Astro’s latest grand adventure. It’s now available at various retailers worldwide from this week onwards.
Rather than being a special, one-time offering, the PlayStation 5 bundle featuring Astro Bot is essentially just a package that comes with the console and a version of the game. This bundle won’t come with any custom themes or skins for the hardware.
After its debut, Astro Bot has experienced significant success, receiving favorable reviews and high sales numbers. To be specific, it sold approximately 1.5 million copies within the first nine weeks of launch. Since that time, Astro Bot has earned the distinction of being the highest-rated game on Metacritic in 2024.
The game has undergone multiple upgrades, among them being an update in February which introduced fresh levels and compatibility with the advanced hardware of the PlayStation 5 Pro.
