In an exciting fusion, the realms of Beyond Paradise and Not Going Out will intertwine in a unique skit, penned and brought to life by Lee Mack.

Addressing TopMob magazine personally, I expressed my delight by saying: “It’s fascinating to see how Sal bridges two realms, where her characters from distinct spheres intersect. The result? A burst of humor!

In the BBC sitcom, Bretton plays the lead character Lucy, while she portrays Martha Lloyd opposite Lee Mack and Kris Marshall in the series Beyond Paradise.

He went on to say, “When something is fresh and unexpected, like a surprise pitch, it’s thrilling. This time, instead of making them come to us, I decided to venture into the realm of Beyond Paradise myself. You see, since we spend so much time in the studio, stepping out onto location and immersing ourselves in that world is truly fantastic.

Mack dedicated an entire day to shooting the sketch in Cornwall, giving it a similar ambiance and aesthetic to “Beyond Paradise,” yet the dialogue was quite different from “Not Going Out.

He mentioned: “We continued with the jokes at a steady rate, yet it seems you’re attempting to weave a small tale within that includes a start, a development, and a conclusion. Packing all of that into such a tight space can be quite challenging.

Apart from that instance, there will be more cross-overs between Not Going Out and Beyond Paradise, as Hugh Dennis is set to make a guest appearance in the next season of the crime drama series.

In the upcoming series, Dennis, who plays the role of Toby in the comedy show, has been cast as Councillor Arthur Donelan. It’s unclear yet how his character interacts with DI Humphrey (portrayed by Kris Marshall), but it seems certain that a crime will be involved somehow.
